Want to wait and see first. We have seen recently with players coming back from ACLs it can take a while to have full confidence again and be playing well, like Mansour.

If he does enough to get Eels firing, (which I doubt as the real issue is their forwards), then the better buy may be getting Mitchell in a team that is playing well finally.

Ahh well at least we gave Thaiday another year on his contract and put Milford on a cool mill a season, even if it mean't loosing many of the above future stars.

when you put it like that, it makes those comments bennett made about the newcastle rebuild even more odd/ironic.

The Wenger comparison is exactly right. You can add Blair and even Benji too to the list of former Broncos who are killing it for their new clubs.

When it's that many who are playing better than they ever did in Brisbane it suggests it's less a recruitment/retention issue than a difference in coaching and game plans and working with talent between other clubs/coaches and Brisbane/Bennett.

Nice. I wish I started with walker instead of croft.

Guth could go up $70k this week if he hits 100.

Is Koro an 80min hooker now at Manly? I'm 3K short of a Johnson upgrade but for over 100K less I can get a guy with an average only 3 points less than Johnson! Sure I can't see him posting a score of 80 like Johnson can do, but the upside is you are probably going to get less volatility. Can't run with Crocker in my halves again.

Any Manly fans out there want to share why he played 80min in the last two games as opposed to earlier rounds (except Rnd1). Is it expected to continue?

This week Croker had 2 HIAs, that is where Jacksons minutes came from

Going captain cook this week. Should eat through a lot of tackles against the roosters and maybe find a few LB’s around a few tired forwards. Plus late game so will be a good temp

This was just a team I made up from the template and a bunch of players I wanted but didn’t have balls to run with before seasons starts.

For fantasy purposes I hope that Grub replaces Benji in the halves rather than coming off the bench, I might even roll the dice and pick up Brooks if he does. Never thought I would be saying that, but that's the kind of fantasy season this is. Brooks looks like he is about to go up a notch, and he currently has Benji stealing 250-300km that Reynolds will not

I know it's wishful thinking Pookus, but if Cleary did this I think there would be a revolt.

The Broncos problems are the halves. Bennett is doing what he has always done and only kept guys who are willing to take unders and in the past this has worked as theyve had 1 of the top 3 halves in the comp and for long periods 2 of the top 5. Now they have 2 guys who arent established and may not even be playing in their best positions the rest of the team is being shown up for the avg guys most of them are.

Yes was just looking at Brooks stats when Mitchell went end of last season, was getting in the 40s every week with Lolohea next to him.
