    I reckon better points with your trade ins (If JFH at lock goes for 40+ - your gut call here)

    Hinges on what you project them all at

    For me:

    Merrin = 45
    Carty = 15

    Maloney = 30
    JFH = 35-45

    Like freeing the cash up personally

    I'm very happy with those projections. Having Maloney means JMK is able to go to EMG.
    Just trust Maloney to get nearer 30 than JMK atm

    Im losing Whitehead mate. I think he's peaked....I don't like the argument that "if you take away his tries then he averages....." but I think its fair to ask how many tries/attacking points you expect him to pick up on average. It certainly isn't 4 tries in 5 games on average. I think he probably scores 1 try every 5 games from here on in, so perhaps 5 attacking points less per game than he's currently been getting? that shifts his average down below his current value so he's a sell for me. I also don't like how he's been getting shifted around positionally although it is to be expected I guess.

    In summary, Im stoked I started with him, and he's made some good coin and scored well, but I think its a good time to pull the pin on him and upgrade.

    What are the odds of TPJ getting a look in this week? Any news?

    Also, have we all but confirmed TTurbo is out this week?

    Smith to Koro to fix the halves
    Nicholls to JFH to make more cash

    I don't think Nicholls will make much money even with Surgess out for 2 weeks

    THE NRMA Insurance Broncos should have the services of giant winger Corey Oates back for their must-win clash with the Newcastle Knights on Saturday.

    And boom prop Tevita Pangai junior has a chance of returning from injury as well after he was named on an extended bench.

    The Broncos badly need to defeat the Knights to stay in touch with the top teams early in the season.

    While they are 11th on points differential on the ladder, they are in equal-fifth place with seven other teams on four premiership points.

    But another loss on top of the disappointing defeat to the Titans and the Broncos will be right back in the pack.

    The injection of Origin representative Oates will help after he missed Sunday’s loss because of a hip problem.

    Coach Wayne Bennett today named him to start on the wing, relegating Jonus Pearson to the reserves list.

    If Oates can get through training tomorrow morning he will be a starter in Newcastle on Saturday night.

    Pangai junior is named in jersey number 19 as he seeks a clearance from a hamstring injury, although his presence in the reserves suggests that could be a long shot.

    Bennett largely stayed strong with the team that were beaten by the Titans, with Oates the only change to the starting 17.

    But the coach has also put the older brigade on notice by naming two youngsters in the extended squad of 21 – the 20-year-old centre Gehamat Shibasaki and 18-year-old prop Payne Haas.

    Dylan Walker has been named in the centres to make his return from injury. Tom Trbojevic, who suffered an ankle injury in the win over Canberra, has been named as part of the 21-man squad subject to a final fitness test..

    Tommy T has been told he has to pass the final fitness test to play. Good news is he has still Saturday.

    Haas being named in the 21 for the Broncos is surprising. Cant be that far off (though weve seen players named in 20/21 and never get a run.  Probably more just reward for efforts.

    Apparently Kenny Edwards threatened an Eels fan on social media. He threatened to meet the fan & sort him as well as using colourful language when abusing the fan on social media.

    As a goal kicker and main in play kicker, why am I so worried about Maloney making 30s.

    Because he has the potential to miss 10 tackles in a game, every week...

    I've adjusted Maloney last score with half the goals less a try no FG 40/20 third the kick metres vs Eels and came up with score of 29pts which I think is entirely reasonable. Would make 53k. What would his BE be if that was score

    I just looked at his rap sheet and deadest, he is an even bigger shit khunt then I originally thought. Obviously innocent until proven guilty, but if he did do this, then it has to make you wonder how people who act so fucking tough actually have really thin skins.

    Although I should probably delete that, lest he read it and come get me.

    I've come to conclusion Arrow at current price/BE is must buy. I would have to sell Havili and Croker and could only afford 252k which leaves Egan Gennings or CCrichton which I'm not crazy about. Gennings has to drop when French and Guth back right?? Alternative is sell Kennar instead of Croker which I'm not crazy about
