(10:34:10 AM) No Worries: Didnt make any difference
(10:34:12 AM) Welcome to Live Chat!: One moment while we connect you to an agent.
(10:34:13 AM) *** Aleksander joined the chat ***
(10:34:25 AM) Aleksander: Hi there No Worries.
(10:34:30 AM) Aleksander: What can I help you with today?
(10:35:00 AM) No Worries: Take a look at my history
(10:35:25 AM) Aleksander: Nothing in your account history mate.
(10:36:01 AM) No Worries: Well I was just talking to Kain ?? who told me to clear my history and cache
(10:36:59 AM) Aleksander: Yeah just taking a look now.
(10:37:00 AM) No Worries: Ironically doing that logs you out and you have to start again
(10:37:03 AM) Aleksander: Give me a few moments to catch up.
(10:38:22 AM) Aleksander: So issues with the Punters Club FAQ page...Is that correct No Worries?
(10:39:40 AM) No Worries: yep. did the history and cache clear logged back in and still get an opps page on every link
(10:40:00 AM) Aleksander: Can I help you with any questions regarding Punters Club?
(10:40:14 AM) Aleksander: I will need to get the IT team to take a look if the page links are broken.
(10:40:35 AM) No Worries: Confused about the withdrawing your winnings.
(10:41:19 AM) No Worries: I'm use to a punt club where the winnings go into a pool and you split them at the end or go for a piss up. But apparently you take them out individually on here ? How does that work
(10:41:37 AM) Aleksander: So no pool for our Punters Club.
(10:41:45 AM) Aleksander: Whatever you put and you win, you get to withdraw.
(10:43:15 AM) No Worries: Just as an example. 5 blokes put in $10 a week, this week is my turn to bet. I get a returnof $100. I can withdraw $50 ? and the other guys get nothing ?
(10:43:36 AM) Aleksander: Okay first of all, you only deposit at the start of the club.
(10:43:41 AM) Aleksander: No weekly deposits can be made.
(10:43:48 AM) Aleksander: So if there are 5 blokes in the club.
(10:43:58 AM) Aleksander: They put in whatever amount each.
(10:44:12 AM) Aleksander: You just bet with whatever funds you have deposited.
(10:45:26 AM) No Worries: So it's more like a league ladder type comp for bragging rights, not an old school pool type ?
(10:45:34 AM) Aleksander: Yeah that's right.
(10:45:52 AM) Aleksander: Our system changed last year from the traditional pool system to this new system.
(10:47:47 AM) No Worries: The league ladder type set up is fine, but being that it's just for a bit of fun I think the guys were expecting small bets weekly, not sure how the upfront stake will go.
(10:48:46 AM) No Worries: If you can only make the 1 deposit into the club, what happens if you run out of money ? Can you add more ?
(10:49:09 AM) Aleksander: If you run out of money, the club basically ends for that person.
(10:49:21 AM) Aleksander: The other members can continue until they decide the close the club.
(10:50:16 AM) No Worries: Bugga. OK thanks. I think that's all I need to know

Ive had the same battle with sportsbet. They fucked. We still have a punters club we set up 2yrs ago, so it stills in the old system, it takes Weekly deposits from the 5 guys involved and provides us with an individual and total account balance. Why they would move away from that is beyond me.

WC will be good for multis, seems to be some good value about in this opening round. England, Agrentina Brazil, Germany all paying over IMO

Gotta make it a bit more interesting so looking at overall and golden boot.

I like the look of Belgium but not sure they go all the way. I'd say France or Brazil.

Golden Boot is a lottery. I'll say Mbappe as roughie but Werner/Jesus as a solid bet.

Top goal scorer I reckon will be Kane. England have an easy pool.

    dragons v eels
Nene Macdonald anytime tryscorer @ $2.33
    Nene Macdonald to score 2+ @ $9
    Both on bet365.

Nene lines up against an eels right side defense that south's walk through them all game last week.
    Looks overs to me.

Ponga injury really hurts my Dally M bet.. thankfully his closest rivals at time voting went 'behind closed doors', Maloney and Fifita, have been quiet of late.

Kane first goal scorer and England win - $5. Scored in 6 straight matches and 2/3 in the games England have scored.

Can someone explain something to me I seldom bet on the soccer but last night I put a few pennies on Croatia but it lost?

I messaged crown bet and they said they qualified they didn't win. Honestly it doesn't make any sense to me I bet on a win and they won?

Because the betting agencies are cunts. They for whatever reason only pay out during regular time, which I find criminal. It's usually stated "normal time" or "regular time"

Betting agencies are cunts, but in this case it is just normal to how soccer markets are presented. soccer is always a "three way" bet, and the odds are calculated as such, eg home team vs away team vs draw.

The "to qualify" odds are a separate market, and lower odds per team (because its a two horse race)

Rippin and Tearin wrote:Hey guys, unfortunately I didn't get around to posting this a week ago but the bet IMO is still good.

Crusaders to win the NZ conference @ $2 (was $2.8 last week) 10 unit max play for me.

and for smaller stakes NSW to win the OZ conference at $2 (was also $2.8 last week). 3 units.

The way the tournament is structured this year favours the incredibly deep Crusaders team who have  bench cover in most positions better than the starters in many other teams. While they have a number of ABs who will miss time, their depth will cover them, while the likes of the Hurricanes, & Highlanders will crumble when they lose their go to players.

This to me just seems like a no-brainer bet and a nice way to watch the season with a bit of coin riding on it.

    GL

Hey guys, so both these bets have already cashed in (with several weeks to spare in the Crusaders case). Hope some of you got on.

For those who did, Im gonna role some of the winnings into Crusaders to win the comp @$1.70 and would suggest doing the same. They are just far better than most teams, will have home advantage all the way through the playoffs, and look likely to get a pretty easy run through avoiding the kiwi sides for at least the first round while it's likely other kiwi sides will have to face off.

Actually the Crusaders toughest game might likely come in the semi, which as things stand would be the winner of the Hurricanes Chiefs semi final.

By the way, anyone know much about football betting?

I put on some wagers just for fun at the beginning of the cup and am now looking to hedge. Just don't know to what extent. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Current bets are:

    First time World Cup winner (i.e. Croatia or Belgium) $100 @ $3.75 = $375
    France Outright $150 @ $8 = $1,200
    Belgium Outright $100 @ $10 = $1,000
    Croatia France Final $100 @ $26 = $2,600

Thats a bugger mate, it always sux when you think you;ve won but haven't. That being said, unless they really are being cunts, this would have been perfectly clear in the bet option you took. I.e. it would have said "90 in result" or something, and there would have been an option for a draw. Also the odds you got would have reflected the fact that a draw at 90min was an option. I.e. a team paying $2.4 for 90min probably only pays about $1.6 or so to qualify (i,e. win in over time or in a penalty shootout).
