A lot thinking Aubusson will get plenty of lb's/tries running of Cronk the way Kaufusi did but most of Kaufusi's lb's/tries were assisted by Slater not Cronk.

Here's that article about Smith talking on Croft.

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/storm/craig-bellamy-to-use-old-melbourne-storm-blueprint-for-brodie-croft-promotion/news-story/be16b29b18ae540eee88bbf95ed6abc0?nk=f3a2ff0381343f9c18450f219499f16a-1519964076

Dunno if I like the sounds of this to be honest.

Makes Smith even more of a must have IMO.

Admittedly, im not good at this. But I have never had Maubbs in any of my teams ever.

The guys Is mediocre, not a good 2rf, not a good ctr. Reliable at each. but not good.

Find it so hard to convince myself that he should be in my team.

O.K White Lightning but how about insert Tedesco delete Slater. Aubbs is an accomplished hole runner on his day and Tedesco is not totally greedy.

I agree mate & after round 1 when Mitchell scores 60+ & Aubusson scores 30 odd then they will all agree haha.

Then next week Mitchell gets a 12 and Aubbs gets his reliable 40.

I understand the appeal of Mitchell, he is talented and has potential to go big. Like Tedesco, he can come up with a 30 point play out of nothing. Certainly he is a player that can make you regret not having him.
He's just a little too hot and cold for my liking. If I'm taking a risk I think there are cheaper options to look at. If I'm spending premium money I want reliability.
Every chance Mitchell will be cheaper during the season after a poor game or 2, might be a nice upgrade target for one of my cows later in the season.

I've posted it alot this pre season but its mostly tongue in cheek (hence emoticon use), but i have had aubbs in my side the entire time. it IS tempting to go a cheaper direction..

Carlin Anderson looked fantastic in QCup. Not sure if he makes the jump but a very exciting player.

I think Croft will be rotated a few times throughout the season but like Smith did in his first season, should play the first 6-7 weeks at least before it happens for the first time, so I don't have a worry starting with him because he won't be rotated THAT early on.

To me Wolfking I cannot go past Smith and Cook as my hookers. Lichaa is a worry for me as he can only pass one way
and then he has a horrible tendency to pass them forward. I would rather have RFM in his spot on the bench.

you can't post this kind of nonsense on this site...

    Maubbs is a saint!

He's the Obi to my One
    the Han to my Solo
    the Yoda to my Toy

Or specifically to you stormtrooper... he's the Darth to your Vader
