The problem with "take out his injury affected scores and he averages this much" players seem to be the same ones that get injured every year.

This is true in the case of quite a few players, yep. This is just another parameter to use though, not a be all and end all stat.

Inglis I'm not so worried about, but Dugan yeah. I was one of the few who started with him last year and was pretty happy until the inevitable injury.

True but some players scores are affected by multiple games, it shows a reflection of a player scoring potential when they remain fit

Sure you can discount certain players like Dugan, could of said the same about Tedesco years back, thought of as injury prone but that worked out

I had Dugan too last year. He was so hard to watch cause everytime he got tackled he got up slowly or wincing or both!

To stressful to have in my team!

Loving the player profiles team! Great work
Think they've now talked me out of both GI and JHayne. New WFB/CTR now on the shopping list. Good to have something to look for. Bring on the trials, agree they can't come soon enough!

For those with Twitter; @NRLPhysio is a great account for injury prognosis and updates. The Ben Dinnery of the NRL

A @brisbanebroncos player has been accused of assault. Allegedly slapping and manhandling a woman. Player can't be named for legal reasons. NRL Integrity Unit aware. @BenBMurph @PaulaD7news

Any merit to having both CS9 and Friend in the team or more worthwhile to save some cash and have Lichaa instead? This would be the team with 38k remaining

    CS9
    RCG Graham
    Harris Murray Arrow
    Moses Cartwright
    Hayne Milne
    Tedesco Ponga Hiku

    Friend
    Watson
    Kikau
    Evans
    Campbell Graham
    Garvey

    2018 Key Changes

    - The Salary Cap will be raised to $9.4 million this season to align with the official NRL Salary cap and Player Prices have also been adjusted accordingly.

    - Fantasy (Classic) squads have been reduced to 21 players consisting of the starting 13 (as per previous seasons), 4 scoring interchange players (previously known as reserves) and 4 emergencies. Together the interchange and emergency players are referred to as the reserves bench. The reserves bench will be numbered from 1 to 8 with players arranged on this bench according to your priority order.

    - In Fantasy (Classic) up to 4 auto emergency players may be used with the previously mentioned reserves bench priority order used to determine how and when auto emergency players are utilised.

    - A Coach trial period will be automatically applied from the moment you register for the 2018 Fantasy competition. This auto-trial will expire at 23:59 on Sunday, 11 March 2018 or 14 days from the date of registration, whichever is the longer.

    - The tie-break rule has been updated as follows. Tiebreaks are awarded to the team with the fewest trades made, then the smallest salary cap total (if applicable), then according to who registered to play first.

    Team Selection

    - You must select a total of 21 Players before the commencement of Round one. If you register once the season is underway, you must complete your team before the next lockout commences. If your Team is not complete before this time, your team will be auto-filled with our smart auto-fill feature.

    - You must select exactly 3 Fullbacks/Wingers, 2 Centres, 2 Halves, 1 Hooker, 2 Front Row Forwards, 3 Second Row Forwards and 8 Reserves made up of 4 Interchange players (numbered 1 to 4) and 4 Emergency players ( numbered 5 to 8 ).

    Trades

    - Before the season begins you can make as many Trades as you like, but after Round 1 you are limited to two Trades per week for standard weeks and four trades for rounds 13, 15 & 17, up to a maximum of 34 trades for the season.

The very moment I selected the black widow towards the end of last season, fantasy died for me. I still haven’t recovered.
