I have 9/17 but my team is struggling because the players I've missed out on, I have a terrible substitute. Eg JBrom instead of Mannering.

Klemmer definitely the surprise packet. CTR position a clear crap shoot as well. No real standouts.

If it was a position independent team, Gagai wouldn't come close to making it

    Smith McInnes
    Fifita Brown Taupau
    Taumalolo JDB Gallen Crichton JTurbo
    Pearce DCE
    BJ Scott
    Munster Mansour Hayne

This is my team for this week, hoping I can win my H2H grand final. Really depressing that I have to play Hayne as Edwards went down but I used my last trade on Surgess to JTurbo so that worked out ok. Ranked 1309 so if I can finish close to the top 1000 I'll be happy with that in my first year of playing Fantasy seriously

    Smith McInnes
    Mannering (c)  Brown Vaughan Klemmer
    JDB Crichton Taumalolo JTrbo
    Cleary Morgan
    Moga Gagai
    Tedesco Lolohea RTS

6192 points for an average of 1032 points (assuming you captained Mannering every week)
How many people got close to this?

I have 9 of those. Selling Moga in the early rounds obviously one of the biggest mistakes. Selling RTS over the byes not smart either especially since it was for Walker.

A lot of teams will be hurting from Edwards going down. I think a lot of people would have used their last trade last week too leaving them a little short. The Surgess to Turbo trade definitely was a win mate.

Go into this last round ranked at 721. Would love to have a ripping round and move up. Good luck to everyone. Finishing position is all thats left.

    Sad

My aim is to stay inside the 800, but probably won't happen. Just inside of it at the moment. Having to play Croker and Rapa could be a concern.

Thinking captain Vaughn this week for a smokie.

With Edwards out it means I play Sam Burgess, so hopefully he turns up to score some points.

I think you're forgetting the epic battle in the Mods Grand Final.

The Saint SI who needs to stand up for the integrity of the forum or the devil may care attitude of Honeysett to take out the Mod League.

In true QLDer spirit, SI has tried to claim underdog status... and so he should, he's about to get bounced.

Klemmers late season form is reminiscent of his 2016 form. IIRC he charged home at the back end of last year as well, hence why I picked him up early in UL draft. (He has been woeful all year Fantasy wise except the last few rounds)
