So I only have 7 and have gone from 200 odd to 502 over the last month.  No Lolo and Vaughan has killed me.

    My 17 for this last battle;

    Smith McInnes
    Fifita Vaughn (C) Taupau
    Brown Tolo Crichton JDB Murray
    DCE Cleary
    Turbo Croker
    Rapana Lolohea Slater

    Backups; Surgess, Walker, Fui, Cotric.

Will most likely stick with Vaughn for a Sunday arvo captains punt.

My opponent this week does not have CS9 so should I just be boring and captain him? Or have a punt and go for someone like JTurbo?

I have 11 of them but only got Mannering this week so he obviously hasn't been my captain and have had Lolohea as an NPR or Munster injury cover at half.

Rnd 20 was ranked 4855 and have improved to 3375 so far.

My final team after a pretty average last 6 or so weeks:

    Smith (McInnes)
    Vaughan, Brown (Taupau)
    Taumalolo, Crichton, JDB, Gallen
    DCE, Pearce (C)
    TTurbo, Leilua
    Teddy, RTS, Walker (Semi)

    Elliot
    Fui
    Whare
    Hayne
    Hampton
    Elgey

As you can tell by my backup players, I ran out of trades a couple of weeks ago and never got to get rid of any of those spuds. My last 4 trades were all forced trades because of injuries to players I didn't plan on trading. My rank has dipped from 85th 7 weeks ago to 178th currently so hopefully I can stay in the top 200...

Pearce should get 100 this week against the rabble that is the Gold Coast Titans.

    Pearce, A Rey
    Scott, T Turbo.

Finished the byes ranked 311th and have climbed to 211th. In that time I have been as high as 352 but floated between 200th and 300th. Meanwhile between round 11 and 19 I managed to go from 4,357th to 311th. Shows how important the byes really are

Yep. I had a rough run through some of the buys.

Round 1 I was ranked 1,600th... and that's probably about where I'll finish up.
During the byes, my ranked dropped as low as outside 7,000.

    R1 2,546
    R25 179

Best was 162 in round R22, worst was 9,410 in round 6. Pretty steady, won't make it to top 100 but am happy with top 200.

    Very true.

I was 10th in rd10 and got as high as 3rd midway through rd11 then all my bye planning turned to shit with injuries, wrong decisions and plain old bad luck. Slipped down to 215th by rd18 and been hovering around in the 100s since then.

Currently sitting in 131st and still hoping for a top 100 finish with a bit of luck this round.

I went from 3102 to 187 through the byes.

Have since slipped back to 366. Chief cause there was I left myself very tight on trades, and injuries to Friend/Merrin/SJ forced me to waste them there rather than make the previously planned upgrades to my team

Unless playing in a serious H2H competiton or private overall league, most people arne't playing for anything other than a bit of pride this week. So take a punt on captaincy and go for someone with a big upside.

    Personally I'm going Munster.
