While I am usually against slapping in league I still chuckle every time I think about Thurston slapping Beau Scott on the cheek during origin and the hilarity that ensued.

With the uncertainty over Smith I think there's a few good captaincy options & McInnes is one of them. He's probably the safest choice imo.

So this is what not having Smith in a regular round is like... no idea who to captain between Gallen or Fifi or Mannering for safety or Taupau for boom POD.
