Reports on TV this morning that CS9 has 'pulled up dusty' (I do love some Aussie sayings) after the Origin game and is a doubt for tonight.

What should a realistic score be with this team this week?

    Smith McInnes
    Graham James Brown
    JDB Taumalolo Elliot
    SJ Niko Hampton
    BJ Kelly
    RTS Slater Hayne Radradra

I don't really wanna ditch Brailey either but I think it's the smart play chasing overall. I don't know about you or anyone else on here, but I could really use the extra points this week.

Sleeping on this again, you could be right. Brailey will miss two games and Smith IF he doesn't play will miss four. Not sure if it's worth the extra trade and needing to keep the money handy to get him back. I'm sure Smith will play though so we don't even have to think about it.

Up to the players if they want to play tonight.

Bellamy expecting big things from Jesse and Slater keen to get out there too.

Is anyone else getting these orange dots? Seems to be for extended bench?

Not Fantasy relevant but I've noticed Tim Mannah was cut from the Eels side last night. Anyone know why?

At the risk of completely Jinxing this Wink but jeepers the Smith to Friend move could be absolute gold huh?

Already 82 points up from last week and now the likelihood of another good Friend score in a Pearceless Roosters side and probably at best reduced minutes from Smith.

+ net gain of $34k on top of the $140k it freed up.

Might keep track of this one week by week.

yep it certainly looks like a great move.

If its "up to the players" then I'm positive Smith will play. He's not the type to just sit one out because he's a little bit tired and sore, he's not that kind of leader, what kind of inspiration would that be to the rest of the squad?

He will probably have an early shower if the Storm build up a comfortable lead though. I'd take 45+ out of him to be honest tonight.

I'm tempted to VC Johnson and C on JDB. Leave Smith right out of the equation.

Is that what Bellamy said? Do we trust anything he says though in terms of lineups?? Based on a couple team lists this year compared Im a little weary of what he says vs what he does. Is that fair?

But yeah Im sure u are right re Smith. It just seems like a really good opportunity to give him reduced minutes this week especially after a < 2 day turn around after arguably one of the faster Origin games ever! Seems like the smart move, but who knows huh!

Yeah, I wouldn't vc Smith if I had him... not 100% sure on SJ though either. You have another option? Munster maybe?

Said he's out through injury. It just had 'ribs' as the cause of the injury.

This is the shithouse team I'm running out with at the moment until Storm teamlists.

    Smith Brailey
    Brown Wallace Yates
Elliot Bodene Kaufusi Surgess Crichton Fui
    SJ (C) Frawley Lamb Niko
    SMat Croker Kelly Cotric
    RTS Slater Semi Suli Ponga

18 trades and 309K. If Smith is out, either Smith or Brailey becomes McInnes. I really wanted to trade in a JDB or Tolo to put the C on but if there is a hooker on the bench for Storm, Kaufusi could be worth a hold as I'm thinking forward to round 15. I could use all my money and upgarde Yates to JDB/Vaughn/Tolo I spose, or even punt Bodene now. Have Ponga there so I could punt him via DPP. Don't know why I'm finding it so hard to let him go. If Niko starts that would help my reserves and won't have to play Kelly, but I'm still tempted to risk my DPP flexibility and get Edwards for Kelly.

Any thoughts would be most welcome.

Yeah, still not working for me either. Can we send an email to someone. When the message 'NRL Fantasy has unfortuantely stopped' I clicked report and said it wasn't working but that probably doesn't mean shit.

Regarding Smith, I'm not so confident he'll play today. He's in his mid 30s now, and he's gotta look after his body. He plays smart and has never recklessly endangered his body.
