Is it ridiculous to consider running with only one hooker for the rest of the year?

No, I don't think so, as long as you keep a trade up your sleeve till the end in case that hooker goes down...............

Been trying to help a work friend out with their team and I'm a bit stuck, can anyone help?

    Smith Macca
    Fifita Graham Yates Fai
Surgess Gallen JDB Peachy SST Elliot
    Milford Niko Elgey Brown
    Aubbs SMat Suli Kelly
    RTS Slater Cotric MWZ Abbey

18 trades but only 18K. Got burnt last week and not real bye friendly plus a lot of conerns with depth with the likes of Graham Milf etc. Pretty gun team though. The kicker is, trading out Fifita isn't an option. Trying to upgrade Niko probably the best bet for this week. Thinking maybe cashout Kelly then Niko to Munster? Can anyone see anything else worthwhile? It's just not a bye friendly team even though a lot of it looks pretty set up.

    Try again.

Merrin averaged 56 in 66 minutes last year. This year 47 in 59 minutes even including last week's 80 minutes. Is it not just laziness but a matter of minutes?? He's had a few games with lots of missed tackles, has he improved on this?

The halves are dog shit. Yep Niko to Munster is the first thing I saw.

Would it be a good idea to run with just 2 FRF's for the year? I've got Graham who is currently scoring like a chump because of injuries but is otherwise a keeper. JWal for the other one who I'll eventually get out for the return of Fifita. Other than Fifi is there really any must have FRF's? Vaughan maybe?

All the must have's seem to be in the 2RF this year. Lolo and JDB are currently absent from my team but will be added soon enough.

I have Macca and Cook I was thinking of downgrading Cook to a nuffie either that or get rid of Whitehead or Gillett to a nuffie to upgrade Cook to Smith..

Gillett is going to lose a ton of cash and the scorers seem to love to give him missed tackles for no reason EVEN when hes not up against fifita, Ponga or Teddy!! So hes obviously not a favourite

It's hard to see a solid downgrade though. Suli is there but he would be useful for 15.

I'm killing off my 2nd hooker spot (next week = Cook to Brandon Smith) & bringing in Vaughan & Taumalolo this week

    Smith, Smith
    J. Graham, Vaughan, Wallace, Tualau
Taumalolo, Gallen, JDB, Surgess, Crichton, Elliot

In round 19 I will bring Fifita in by downgrading & upgrading Elliot & Wallace.

Niko > Munster is the only obvious trade, just dont know what to do with the next one.

Have tentatively done Kelly > Semi. Could also get rid of Hayne. Just have no idea.

Wouldn't McInnes with an average of 56 score just as well as your 3rd FRF or 5th/6th 2RF pretty much? Without the risk of having no backup hooker?

Bugger. $1K short of Hodgson to Mcinnes.

I was hoping to only single trade this week, but perhaps I'll see what I can get for KNik also.

I'm actually worried about McCullough being a season keeper. I don't have him in Fantasy, but I do in VSDT and am going to sell him this week.
From memory ( as I can't get into nrlstats.com anymore ) McCullough has yet to have a game this year with Nikorima on the bench. The first 5-6 weeks Niko was injured and as soon as Niko came back is when Ben Hunt went down and Niko has been in the halves ever since. I'd like to think that when Niko comes on from off the bench, it won't be for McCullough but I just don't know what Bennett will do.
