Lobbed in the wild west and noticed Matty Moylan running at five-eighth with Dylan Edwards at fullback. Hmmmmm .....

Would be a nice trade in. Cheap enough considering his average (though that's from only two games).

Could finally ditch Hayne for someone capable of 50s!

Kelly, R. Jennings or Abbey out for D. Edwards. I've seen Edwards play & he looks purpose built for fantasy & will be a gun at f/b. Also with a -7 b/e he'll be a great mid season cash cow with the Panthers starting to hit form.

Actually isn't Mansour close to a return so will Edwards be a waste of a trade.

Depends on who is considered a better fullback should Moylan move more permanently to the halves.
If not Edwards, who would it be? Hiku? DWZ?

Yeah, not sure where they all fit when you have Hiku, Whare, DWZ, Blake, and Mansour, assuming Moylan does go to 6. Peachey probably forced into bench role. Who knows what Griffin will do.

I personally don't like the trades involving Aubusson.

He's a keeper at C which is pretty hard to find. He also still has good bye schedule! He will most likely go back to his 80min edge forward roll this week and for the rest of the season. The only issue, which you've seen this week is that it appears he is still Mr Fix it and will therefore likely fill in at C in round 18. I think that is a waste of his talents personally Roosters could have done with his tackling skills closer to the ruck in that last game IMO.

So, if I had to chose from the rest without seeing your complete side I'd probably go with D and look to go Brown to Vaughn next week if Brown is not back.

Yeah I was warming to the idea of A or D myself. Here's my team

    Smith McInnes
    Graham James Brown Fai
JDB Surgess Gallen Crichton Elliot Fuimaono

Mind you re Edwards you just have to take a risk sometimes. Plenty of cows like CHN, Ponga, Hest we didn't think would get many games but they did.

Daily Telegraph reckons Cartwright out for up to 3 months with knee injury. Also justto confuse things there's TMM.

TMM may be going to the Warriors next year so could be down the pecking order.
May be the reason they are moving Moylan into the halves as that is the longterm plan?

I think if Dedwards gets the #1 this week and Mansour is good to go, he's probably worth a crack?

Another DT reporter says he spent most of the session at fullback.

Im no expert on excel or any of those documents, however I reckon someone who is could easily enough create a document that determines the Curse factor at the season.

Using the weekly BEs (as well as the price and scores of players at the end/start of each round) you'd be able to assign a value per round per player that measures improvement vs drops (curse/gift factor).

Using excel magic/trickery you'd be able to create a document where you put in the trades you made throughout the season. The link to the Curse/Gift Factor will be able to determine who in fact is statistically the most cursed forum poster. OR who has the midas touch.

As a side bonus, it should be able to articulate the best possible path a team could have taken through the season.

This is me hypothesising, im sure it could be done, but it would take a fair bit of time to set up. Also needs to be done at end of season. Unless you want a mid season review.

    I like it.

I also like the idea of a mid-season review so that we can isolate the cursed and/or gifted and either follow or avoid their trades based on a weekly trading pre-warning from these people.

I'm in the fortunate situation where I can wait until the Panthers team is finalised because I would sell R. Jennings to get Edwards & since Jennings has a bye he won't lock out until the final game which is the Panthers.

Eels forward Suaia Matagi has been charged with tripping in Friday night’s win over the Rabbitohs.

The charge resulted from an incident involving Rabbitohs forward Anthony Cherrington in the 38th minute in Friday night’s match.

Matagi faces a $1,100 fine if he pleads guilty to the charge, or risks a $1,500 fine if he unsuccessfully fights the charge at the judiciary.
