Yates to Gurgess soon would be nice if George can get 40 mins regularly

If george returns to his best, Crichtons 80min days are numbered.

Anyone else have the feeling all these Souths changes are not good for Crichton. Thinking of reversing.

Turner back to edge and George through the middle potentially change their points of attack and I don't think Sutton is going to be anywhere near as effective in using Crichton, in fact I think he will run himself a bunch.z

Maybe over thinking it but feels now like Whitehead is the safer/better move

While this reshuffle is obviously forced and not ideal, I still can't see Crichton playing less than say 70 minutes or even the full game, there's simply no reason why not. Perhaps Turner goes for a spell then comes back on for his second stint in the front row, with this new fella slotting into second row? Keep in mind they only have 2 forwards on the bench if they go with the 17 we are expecting them too, and we see how Madge is liking his quick forward rotations. Musgrove should play a few more minutes for those who still have him too.

There's also a chance the new fella gets bugger all and cook fills in at half with Sutton moving back. Probably less likely with a 2FR on the bench but you never know. Maybe also Madge not confident of Turner playing a full 80 again. Maybe his match fitness has gone down slightly in the change of position.

Probably wouldn't know until an hour before kickoff then.

By the time Crichton stops getting 80 minutes and peaks in cash, we should all be able to easily go from him to a gun keeper like Surgess/Graham/Ryan J etc etc...

New bloke will get 15 - 20 mins.

Can't see Turner playing more than 60 mins since he's been bulking for prop role.

Sutton may also shift back into the forwards when Cook and Farah are both on the field.

I expect Souths rotations to be a bit unconventional and game dependant, but Crichton will still get 70+ mins

As long as Crchton starts in the 2nd row he'll get 60+ minutes.

I reversed trades on him last weke and regretted it. Do'nt want to do it again (although I could bring in Whitehead instead)

    Good point

Tbh my worries in going cow now rather than gun is just trade us
And my concern is more about needing Turner to be a nailed on front row to warrant getting Crichton.

If george becomes part of full strength Souths again then the chances are good full strength souths' backrow is Turner/Sutton/Burgess

As you say though we prob all made enough money by then not to care

None of my concerns were about the new bloke off the bench

It's not having ARey putting Crichton through.
It's having Sutton running instead of passing
It's using george over the top of small bad defenders instead of Crichton
It's Turner. The more experienced edge backrower and do they use him more

That's what I meant by point of attack

Anyone reckon its silly to trade Jacks to Frawley on the assumption that he'll take the starting gig eventually?

Its getting close to that time when you really should think about killing off spots to cash in and upgrade. Hopefully Des has the balls to do the right thing, regardless of how much money his current halves earn.

    My team for this week.
    Smith (c),
    Fifita, Wallace,
    Surgess, Whitehead, Hess,
    Walker, Norman,
    Leiluia, SMat,
    TTurbo, RTS, Ponga
    Reserves: Brailey, Crichton, FKaufusi, Cotric.
I also have CHN and would play him ahead of Cotric if I knew he was going to start, however Cotric plays tonight.
Who should I dump if CHN starts?

It is doubtful he plays. I wouldn't drop anyone for him anyway with your squad. Looking stacked man.

I'm reserving CHN over Cook (will be in my npr's) but I need a backup plan in case CHN is not starting so I will trade in K-Nik for Jacks & K-Nik will start. I will put Lamb in my npr's & he'll come into the 17 if CHN doesn't start.

I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon, unless someone gets injured or someone leaves for another club.
