Well yeah, you would think so. I was just trying not to sound too certain, lest I be blamed by anyone making a decision based on this advice, as seems to be all too frequent around these parts.
And also, Laurie Daley has no idea what he's doing, so could end up picking Keary and Reynolds or some shit.

Not our fault you took advice from facebook.

If you were around these parts, when the discussion of final R between Brailey, Idris and Cotric came up, the consensus was Brailey. Cotric did get some fanfare though.

There will always be an element of uncertainty surrounding origin team lists until they are named. Buhrer/DWalker are a good example of that.

You are right though, I should have said "I personally think the origin lineup will be.." instead of "the origin lineup will be..".

Personal opinion should never be ridiculed, especially on this forum. Rather it should be taken into account and discussed openly and freely. Everyone makes mistakes with calls in life at times, NRL Fantasy highlights this on a weekly basis. Thats life ~ shit happens. Best thing to do is live and learn (and laugh at stupid shit (like my Fantasy team)

To be fare Cotric could have outscored Brailey, he has done so previously. Players always score more after there has been a mass trade out. That's just NRL Fantasy for you! (Shit happens every year)

A fair portion of this game is luck afterall! Just got to laugh about it and take it for what it is - a game.

    Fap

840 with ET and Idris to play.

Happy with everyone except for Siro Bang

Also looking at Crichton, Whitehead or Bodene for next week.
Bodene has that injury risk, Crichton could get swiped by Madge, Whitehead looks the better option.

778 with ET, Norman and Idris. Hoping for a 900, that would be terrific.

Not unless they start awarding points based on previous averages. Until Merrin shows something this year he isn't even on my radar

Same for me ATM he looks very overweight, has never seemed to carry it well but has normally dropped off a few weeks into season, he still looks way too fat ATM. He was fantastic over the last half of last season, if he returns to that form he will be a steal

    That would be interesting.

There is a feature in VSDT (Past Stats) that shows how a player has performed on average in Rounds 1-8 v Rounds 9-18 v Rounds 19-26 since 2009. It shows that Smith's averages drops signicantly in the middle third of the season and then rises after Origin.
    .

Thanks mate, that's really useful. Will check it out!

His first spell yesterday was easily the best he played all year. Post contact metres were up and he was looking to go forward instead of dancing in front of the defensive line. Then it was same old in the second half

Fifi and Gal,  both with a try, you would expect more.
But saying that,  it was a game full of errors and penalties.

You would, but things are put in perspective a bit when you take into account he only played 46 minutes. That's about 15 minutes or so less than average. My back of the envelope calculations have him scoring at better than his ave points per minute yesterday even if you take of the points he scored in scoring that try.
