just been a bit lucky with my cash cows but it helps to come on here, watch the games and do a bit of research.
I still have cotric, Kelly, jacks, stone and harawira neara but hopefully some more cash cows can emerge.

    Are you thinking about Crichton?

Agree like the team a lot Welshy.

I think Yates/Siro to Gun Prop and cash out.

Really nice balance f you can add a gun prop to the squad

Cheers yeah, I'm thinking Fifita, mostly because he has been a proven gun in the past and he is a tiny bit cheaper lol
If I go that way I should have enough for J. Bromwich next week too which would give me a team of this for next week. Then no more trades for a while lol

    A. McCullough, (B. Hampton)
    A. Fifita, J. Graham, (J. Bromwich)
    E. Whitehead, P. Gallen, S. Mannering (J. McGuire)
    S. Johnson, C. Norman
    J. Leilua, J. Idris
    J. Tedesco, R. Tuivasa Sheck, J. Hayne (K. Ponga)

Hopefully trade up Ponga to Dugan or similar when he reaches his peak and Hayne to the bench lol

Showing what is possible with no Cam Smith

Very very impressive work this early in the season mate

Graham or Fifita? I really want James in because he is ridiculous value and I can feel a form uptick with a squad that is getting healthier but he doesn't play 12

Field or Fogerty out for Hampton. Thinking Field as Fogerty is DPP

If Hampton can get his value up to 280-300k over the next few weeks he will have done his job in providing me a 3rd HLF with decent cashout value.

I'm still all good with trades, have 28 left after this trade. I could use my 2nd trade this week to go Tapine to Whitehead, but Tapine starting for the first time and I have no idea what that means for him or his scores.

300k is highly optimistic after 3 weeks. Would think he'd peak around the same as Kelly/Suli

Would say he will average 30 at the most over the next 3 matches

Shit is it literally only 3 weeks? I was thinking between JT and Granv he would get around 5 weeks. And will the Cowboys use him during Origin?

Haha I just saw few and jumped in, sorry pal. Could be longer but I just can't see him scoring well enough.

Think it was Milch earlier who said his PPM is usually around 0.4.

If Hampton stays in the 7 for JT he will be playing 80 in a position where points are easy to come by, I'd expect 35+ for him

Musgrove to Crichton a good stepping stone trade?

Or just asking for more trouble with Rabbitohs rotation?

Elgey is a turnstile, Hampton is a decent defender who just made 40 tackles in 52 minutes

Haha I wasn't discounting your point. Just wish Elgey could get some of these points.

I've always wondered what makes some players better tacklers than others. Surely it's not jut size and technique.

Good tackling is technique & heart/no fear. Look at RTS for example. He has an appalling tackling technique. He got knocked out cause he put his head in the wrong place & that's not uncommon. I look at a lot of players especially backs in the nrl & I can't believe how poor they are at tackling.

Finch wrote:First time I have posted my team up in a while.

Not sure what my next move should be, any ideas? Thinking of trading Yates/ET out, either for Graham or a 2RF gun.

    Smith, Brailey
    Vaughan, FKafusi - Yates, Hoare
JDB, Surgess, Crichton - ET, CHN, Sironen
    SJ, Jacks - Frawley, Field
Sione M, Cotric - Idris, Kelly
    Tedesco, RTS, Slater - Hayne,

$346K in the Kitty, 28 trades left.

    Ranked around 620.

Have penciled in Kelly - BJ + ET - Graham. Not sure I want to sell ET though. This leaves me with $100K exactly.

    Thanks!!!

Look 1 reserve short. Brailey ET Sironen and then one of CHN Yates Idris Frawley for 4th. Mine isn''t much better but it's a problem I'm looking to fix ASAP. Centres already fairly strong with Sione, Cotric and Idris all decent scorers. I would avoid BJ for now. Jacks looks like becoming a much bigger problem very soon with Munster on the bench. I would do Yates cash out and Jacks>Walker/ARey. Leaves plenty of cash to tackle the forwards next week and possibly grab a better 4th reserve option for CHN/Hoare
