Its the last chance to jump on some guys before they are out of reach and youre waiting till rd18 to get them into final team but at the same time its also the time some guns are bottoming out.

My 1st trade looks like Hayne to CHN to get SMat into centres. The 2nd will be Cordner out and i can get any frontrower or 2nd rower but i dont know which one. I will give Bodene 1 more look before going that way, im not a fan of SKs coaching so need to make sure he is back to 80min. Whitehead suspended gives me more time on him. Thinking Surgess as he has looked good the last 2 weeks and barring injury would have smashed it last week, has good byes but i could have started with him and i didnt so its hard to go back haha

I really don't think Sione is good enough even for our centre position. I can't see him getting consistent 40's, and quite possibly could struggle to crack 30.

Low BE, and first cab off the rank if anyone is injured or Cooper/Lowe play SOO

Cooper is an incumbent but they only play 1 game that Origin players miss and thats rd15. Hess could be back under 300k by then if he goes back to 25min bench player and the tries dry up.

Shanbon wrote:So the cowboys 1-17 team is as expected 2 weeks ago. I wonder how many went Hoare/Ponga? Hess i understand as he will have 2-3 more weeks of price rises

Wasnt as expected for me. I went for Hoare on the understanding that he was a big body replacing Scott and therefore had some job security. And Hess would go back to the bench once Tolo returned and Lowe shifted back out wide. So in effect Fensom has beaten out Hoare in a two week audition for that prop/lock rotation bench position.

Either way, a dud call by me, to follow another dud call (IPapalii), possibly followed by a third dud call in TPG.

For Hess to be worth it you'll need either
    a) Lowe/Cooper/Lolo to get injured/dropped
    b) Hess to keep scoring tries

Otherwise he'll probably only be scoring 30s and will sart bleeding cash after a couple weeks.

He's found ways to stay in the team and scoring points so far, so entirely possible that may continue, but its a definite risk.

has a 46 and 34 when playing 80min at backrow. Had a 29 in 59min there before injury. Only poor score is the 19 at centre but after a 40-0 flogging hopefully Brown realises you cant move players around like that, just bring in Wardle next time or another proper centre.

    46 34 and 29 in 56 mins. I think that's unfair estimation

No wouldn't sell either. I'm considering selling Elgey but reluctantly. Only him or Hayne for Slater

It's hard to argue against that. May have to pass up on Bodene this week then..

    Team this week

    Smith Brailey
    McGuire Vaughan Wallace Yates
(trade in??) JDB Hess Kaufusi Winterstein CHN
    Norman Jacks Elgey Hingano
    SMat Kelly Moga Idris
    Turbo RTS Cotric Jennings Suli

Just got to work out my trade in for Cordner, then next week i can upgrade Winterstein as right now backrow is making money but looking weak.

I don't know there's something about him I don't like. 2 TA and LBA in 2 of those games as well that won't happen very often

I'm considering trading Barnett to Bodene.
Barnett has been disappointing since rd 1 and his minutes seem to be drying up.
Watching him last week he rushes up in defence, leading to too many missed tackles.
Bodene would also give me another player for rd 12.
Anyone like to talk me in or out of it?
Other trade will probably be IPapalii to CHiNa

Got a score of 640 behind me so just looking for a few extra points this round, can't afford back to back poor rounds and can't afford Lamb sitting out and having to play a dud reserve.

I did want to wait another week on Bodene but just realised i can get him this week leaving me enough cash to get Whitehead next week for Winterstien. Thats 2 extra rd 12 players at big discounts. If JBromwich can prove he v=can get back to big scores he becomes a cashout for Hess leaving me heaps to fix 2nd centre/3rd WFB
