I was at the game and near where it happened. He got knocked out cold, for at least 10 seconds laying there lifeless for much longer.

When he finally got up he staggered a bit, trainer poured water on his face then he just shook it off like trying to wake up

Put it this way, it the rule was brought in to 'protect' players, this was a prime example to use it.

No issues if they have, as they have been quite liberal the last few years, but some notice would have been nice before picking certain players.  For example, picking Fifita and Dugan!

Matt Gillett 'missed' a tackle on Thursday because Vulu ran near him Gillett put an arm out (he was behind Vulu) realised he wasn't going to get him so put his arm down and chased after him someone else made the tackle and Gillett carried on to the 10m line and that was a missed tackle / tackle break even though there was no contact and Gillett was a good metre away from him.

I feel some contact should at least be made for it to be a tackle break not just running past someone clean

Agreed, that scenario if anything is more a line break.

With the TB definition, it seems at the moment that if you bounce out of a tackle and continue on, but are then tackled by the same tackler again then it is not a TB.  I tend to agree with this, but pretty sure it is not how it has been the last couple of years.

Normally in season's past, if a player dropped off a tackle but then came back and completed the tackle then it would still be counted as a missed tackle and then a tackle, and hence a TB to the ball carrier.

What minute was that in Booze? Thanks.

Edit - Nevermind. FF it through and found it. How the fuck did he not go off for a HIA?! affraid

Yep. Good 50 point player to have over byes mind you, but doubtful he gets anyone a few 70's like I was hoping for.

745, not too bad seeing I ran Moga, Kelly, Suli and Siro in 17. Picked up 2500 ranks to now be 2160. Heading in the right direction at least.

And I thought Elgey was my biggest problem in the halves. Might downgrade Moses to a cheapie before he ends up at Elgeys price.

    Any cheapies worth looking at?

Do you have Ponga? Could see more game time with all these injuries at the Cowboys that keep popping up. Might get a few additional games during the origin period if he isn't in the side already at that time.

hmmm I would like to keep siro as he has more cash to make, but this crap score has stunted his potential for a while. Will most likely trade him, would you say whitehead should score about 20pts more than siro next weeK?

If he scores a 50 and siro 30, then whitehead drops another 10k and siro picks up 1-2k......yeah definitely will make the trade if whitehead named in 2RF again.

So Siro and MCK after those scores pretty much done as cows? They could both be slow burns for another 50k, but doubt its worth it.

Don't have any DPPs to get Ponga unfortunately.

Yah I'm fed up already of looking at all these names in my centres. Hate making so many trades there so sooner can have an Aubusson instead of Cotric Suli Idris Kelly the better

Will persist with that sack of garbage Moses due to severe lack of options around his price or below
