Teddy plays mind games like no other.
I have Latrell Mitchell playing today, but my other centre is S.Mata'utia, so now I can't help but think I can afford to downgrade Latrell to Kelly and pocket the cash until round 2 where I can immediately turn Gutherson into Teddy.

Madness! I am trying to rejig my whole team around to fit him in, and Guthers hasn't even played yet! It just burns to miss out on such a high score, knowing he might do it again easily next week.

Have one night off to go to the pub and you boys give me 40 odd pages to catch up on. Still happy with my decision to grab Munster for Dugan even if the results didn't pay off. He was 5cm from scoring 40 points in a sloppy game. Teddy scoring big hurts but hopefully Munster can get some of those points back over the coming weeks. Very happy with my strategy of a well rounded 25. 3 nprs play for 41, 43, 52 so plenty of cash being made.

I'm all for "don't panic" type message early in round 1, but Tedesco is the exception. All he showed for us guys who didn't go for our Tedesco version team, is that we made a mistake. Simple as that

If I were in your spot, Smat would be gone, but of course you will get a look at him and guth soon!

Money in bank for Tedesco is not crazy in short. It's sound planning, but you might as well collect your original picks points this week and make 2 moves next. It's only an issue if you need 3 moves to get Ted

Haha I'm the same re Tedesco. Atm I'm looking at Welch & Tedesco in - ET & Gutherson out but it depends on how Gutherson goes.
I know everyone wants Tedesco but considering that the Tigers have the Panthers next week you could probably go without him.

ET scored 40 (?) in 60 odd minutes of football when his team were winning by 20 odd. Not as much defensive work to be done, seems like a hold for me.

I think he will push his breakeven so low, that the Teddy train is about to leave the station. Be pushing near 520k this week, wait another and he scores even just 50 and he will be 560-570.
This week or waiting for a string of bad games later (which might never happen) IMO

I think you are all crazy ripping your team apart for Teddy. You knew he could post this kind of score and decided not to take him after weeks of research. Why are you now throwing everything away because he had a big score in round 1 instead of round 7?

Plus Teddy always demolishes the rabbits. He ain't getting 91 every week.

I got ET on the expectation of 70+ mins. Last year he averaged 63 mins & that was about the time he got a rest. You could argue that the Tigers had a big lead so he got an early shower but I don't think that is the case. Last year I picked up Macca from round 1 & stuck with him hoping for more mins but it didn't happen. Tedesco is a far superior fantasy asset than ET so I have no problems getting rid of ET.

    A few observations so far..............

I miss Evonne Sampson Beating Heart her replacement sucks, actually the ch9 coverage sucks.

The NRL Live Pass is better than nothing but sucks too, I wouldn't pay $90 for it. It doesn't give a full screen and it kept stopping all the time, I had to keep re starting it.

On a side note, happy with all my cows at the moment, managed to get all the good performers except Moga but got Talakai in his place.

I'm going to sit tight unless something major happens in my squad, its only the first round and definitely not panic time yet.

I bought Tedesco after missing out on him last year for the first half of the season. I'm glad I went with my gut

were you never tossing up between a teddy team or not?

Suli has shown that a 3rd cheap winger might yet be possible, and you have pook talking about Smat, gutho and Latrell Mitchell.

Balance is overrated. Tedesco is likely to beat any 2 of these 3 players on his own in most weeks.

How many games does Teddy miss over Origin? Surely his avg comes back down so if you have a player you thought would avg say 10-15 less then Teddy will you get those points back when they play extra games?

My first team had Teddy but I changed with the plan to get him after origin

Not even joking I am making all of these Tedesco comments, actually having no clue he went up to 91

    Ffs

My comments were based on him breaking 70

    *sighs*

    Point is even stronger

I'd also not be banking on Suli to be in your 17 every week. He did look good but remember he won't always get 2 TAs and a try
