Yeah he is priced lower than his lowest scoring game of 30 points.

    Question Bump 2

Daifiti averaged at least 10 points above average to close out last season.

    Why?

Increase minutes? higher PPM? someone out injured?

What is to say he won't just revert to his average starting this season?

From a reality standpoint it's because he matured as a player, he didn't gas as early as he used to and he started to make his mark on games. He will be better for last year and I can only see improvement - whether that transfer to Fantasy? Well who knows but I would suggest it would.

What is with that bulldogs bench. It looks really weak?

They can run a weak looking bench when you have J. Graham and A. Tolman who both play 60 minutes. Hell the blokes could play 80 minutes if need be. Then you have Jackson who will play close to 80 minutes. I don't think there is much value where their cheaper guys are concerned because they have so many big minute players. Klemmer could get some more minutes, and improve a little but I am not sold on that happening. I think if one of Tolman/Graham goes does or is suspended long term there could be great value in the Bulldogs pack.

I am not sold on McGuire personally. Fifita is an out and out gun. Meanwhile Milford is one of those guys that could go on a hot streak and make a lot of points over a couple of weeks. He could also have a quiet game while Lamb is all about that base, bout that base, all kick meters... We need a music emoticon...

    So in maturing,

did he score tries, increase his work rate, or something else. A ten to fifteen point jump in a short term period is pretty significant.

I don't like the four forwards on the bench in the Broncos while the knights also heavily rotate theirs, i am leaning towards Taupau.
    Any help?

    scratch

I think Barnett has potential to improve while the other guys will pretty much stay where they are. However if you think Taupau can be a little more consistent this year he could be a 60+ scorer most weeks.

League 51, let's face it. We don't have the likes of Bren, Archer, Pook or Welshy in our league. Way too much infighting over there. Potential they get inside each others heads and someone like Archer ends up making a bad decision. Like the time he used the 9th overall pick in a draft on Rapana.

I wouldn't, as good as Moeroa could be. I recall his injury being something that could flare up at any stage. Plus the spare cash could be worth saving for the following week to repair the team or could be better spent elsewhere.

    Fantasy question for Random

If you had to chose between Jono wright, Lee and Ayshford for your final spot in the 17 on the Wing.

    Would you:

    A) give up on life

    or

    B) Chose both Lee and Ayshford because two wrongs make a Wright?

Thanks. I agree. Was thinking the same. If Bateman has a good game and Sironen average for example could have the necessary $$$

For that exact reason alone L2 will beat all the other Fanatics Leagues this year. L1 gets flustered easily and so they make silly mistakes as they start to crack under the pressure.

Ran better lines and at the right time (comes from that experience), so started to make a more metres with more TBS and a few attacking stats. Minutes were the same roughly but think the game time on field was slightly different. Basically him and the coach worked out the best way for him to play

Overall it was a mixture of slightly better minutes and a slightly higher PPM average. He was also a bit more consistent with his tacklebreaks towards the end of the year. Here is my D. Saifiti write up from early in the year.

Daniel Safiti is interesting, if he can push for more minutes this season he is capable of scoring well. He had a PPM of 0.9 last season and only went over 1ppm 3 times and only 1 try in the game. So the guy looks to have solid base stats to keep up the PPM. The only issue is he does seem to miss tackles now and then. Almost 2 per game, but that is something after a full year he may have improved on. With all the changes to the Knights forward pack (Sims brothers departing, Pauli Pauli injury, Robbie Rochow leaving. It opens the door for him to play 50-60 minutes which could result on a score of 40 - 55 point average. (Note: I did what I think is the absolute worst he would score on average under those minutes and what is the best he can look to achieve consistently.) I also think there is no risk as it is likely he will get at least 50 minutes and it is very unlikely his PPM drops below 0.75PPM from his stellar 0.9PPM. Which even with a significant drop wouldn't make him lose cash.
