Just got in there Pook. Also to make things easier for guys, Gifs are only permitted on page 51 on wards. So no run over to page 1, that way people browsing at work have no issues.

Storm have given an update re Bromwich, confirmed should be back in two weeks. Not sure if that means he may only miss one game, or not..

As an NFL fan Ive talked about post contact metres for years as being hugely important(real life not fantasy related) and its only recently theyve started recording it and now the ch9 commentators cant stop talking about it like they invented it

Doubtful you have to think, Round 3 they play Thursday so he may not back up for that.

Yeah they are really an important stat, I also noticed they talked about it so damn much during the broadcast. I wouldn't mind for it to be highlighted now and then like they do other stats. However during games it was talked about a lot more than other stats.

Sigh... thanks for the shout out Random, now with the extra traffic I'm going to have to find more graphs for the graphophiles....

Haha though no excuses if you lose in h2h to me, you know all my moves in advance

Unsure what else people want to see in there, trying hard to fail to make it exciting but it's not happening to start with this year. Perhaps an injury crisis or some more ex gf scandals

Hmm and round 4 they play on a sunday against tigers. So very likely he will be back then.

Hmmm that changes my trades then. I got 151k in bank, jwh to barnett? Or hold some cash in reserve for upgrades?

I want to give jwh another week, but barnetts potential scores outweighs jwh potential money

Any updates on Mannering yet? Only trade I'm thinking of this week is Phythian to Burns/Gennings but if Manners is out for a while he'll have to go unfortunately.

Can either Bodene or Afoa play lock. I would say Bodene could handle it better. They could also just play him for 50 mins to give him a rest until he regains full match fitness. The only other alternative would be Vete/Lisone at lock. Vete did start there last year in some games.

Any forwards under 189 that I should consider.

Team looks a lot stronger/flexible with Smat at Centre (provided he doesn't get named at ctr) if I go Python > FRF via Suli/Smat/Yates. Are Manly/Storm likely to throw up a short term option?

Looks like RN1 treated some of us well, so congrats to those who find themselves up the leaderboard. I managed to sneak into the low 800s post updates which isn't the worst start to the year.

Did anyone see much of the Manly v Eels game ?

I am considering TTurbo to Gutherson but not sure if its too much of a knee jerk reaction.

Gutherson Pros: Byes, price, DDP(also have fogerty in the team) and goal kicking, tackling for base states. Plus I think TTurbo scored better in the centres last year.

Negatives: Already have Norman in the team so if Eels have an off day....

    Thoughts ?

Every fullback will have lowish scores. Tommy T had a super quiet game due to Manly being on the back foot for most of it and still scored 27. I wouldn't be dumping him. What happens when he scores two tries verse Souths this week?

    on TTurbo

Manly had to do a tonne of defending. In the 2nd half they were basically just doing dropiuts for 20 minutes straight.
All their attacking players performed badly because of it.  They actually picked up in the last 10 minutes which is where guys like Dylan Walker, TTurbo, Sironen got a large chunk of their points.

Definitely I would not panic on any of those guys. You bought them for a reason - and they will almost certainly have better chances to shine in the coming weeks.

Im 50/50 on this. Para had all the possession so plenty of attacking opportunities for Gutherson, plus he scored a try.

Tommy T has potential but will be hard for him to score points if manly getting smashed up the middle each week.

Maybe wait a week to see how they go this week

Nothing really needs to change. Pythian to Burns if that comes up, otherwise if you can J. Brom to Wallace if you want some cash. However I have the same option and I am thinking of not doing it this week.
