    Round Two

Post by Honeysett on Tue Mar 07, 2017 8:56 pm

This weeks NRL build up has been purely based around Jarryd Hayne so what kind of man would I be if I didn’t give my two thoughts on that. Well you couldn’t tell me what kind of man I am because everyone cunt needs a safe space now if their feelings are hurt.

Before we kick off I just want to address something that is really bugging me. Why is there this huge sudden push to focus political correctness down everyone’s throat? Just today I’ve seen that Victoria are potentially changing their pedestrian lights to females because it’s sexist. Then they’re remaking Ocean’s Eight with an all female cast - did we not learn from that abortion Ghost Busters? The more you try to shove this shit down the throat of society the more offside you put people and the serious issues get over looked like why men’s razor blades are the same price as a 2x1 Villa with an ocean view in the South of France.

Now. Jarryd Hayne. He’s adopted the name Jayne among the forum here, now when I first read it I thought it’s just the same as Surgess, JBrom, SMat - just makes for easier writing but this man decided to delve a little deeper into the issue. It’s because the man is built like Tarzan and plays like Jane, I’ve had tougher steaks than Jarryd Hayne. If I wanted to see some bloke try hard for two minutes and phone it in I’d look into my full length mirror while I was having a shag.

In all seriousness he needs to get his head in the game reports suggest he’s got one eye on his NRL career and the other on playing Rugby in France. That’s not a metaphor his eyes don’t face the same way.

Well what better way to paper over the cracks and show people what you have than by belting the Knights, as a dyed in the meth Knights fan while the media is sitting there poking the bear I’m screaming internally. SHUT THE FUCK UP! Let him continue to be shit, please. We’ve been through enough.

Surprisingly the Knights fought extremely well against the Warriors last week and came within a meat pie of a big upset, I feel that’s going to happen over and over again. The Knights will do that continually throughout the year, give you a taste but never finish you off - like the shittest hooker in the world.

Sorry Mitch Rein, not you buddy.

Well that’s it for another week, stay safe, do drugs and as always Fuck you Buzz Rothfield.

Thankfully there are no nasty words about the mighty Brisbane Broncos this week to offend my sensitivities. So I'll emerge from my safe space and say nice write up!

How long until someone claims it's sexist to have the green light woman wearing a dress?

Think the Knights win this week.

My better half's name is Jayne and she is currently under stress at work. Jayne means strong to me.

    Love it HS. A wordsmith.

On a side note RE shaving. I strongly recommend you or any guy here to purchase a safety razor (google it). A bit old school and u get a closer shave with the blades which are ablit $4 to $8 for 5 or 10 ten packs. Get on it.

Mann just seems out of favour. Nothing else has been said as to why he is missing. Dugan pips him at FB and then I think that he is seen more as a HLF than a CTR. Hence him not getting a run there. If Lafai under performs he may get a run. Otherwise he is probably needing an injury to get a run.

Cool - thanks for the insight. Just seems weird that their leading try-scorer last year is not getting a run.

roosters 13+ - i am still rather optimistic we will have a better year then most think but when in form, the roosters and cowboys have for a while been 2 teams we can never beat (beat the chooks last year but that was a different side) just can't see us hanging with them tonight

    warriors 1-12
    Broncos 1-12
    Titans 13+
    Manly 1-12
    Sharks 1-12
    Penrith 13+
    Eels 1-12

Nice work HS and I must say your brutal honesty about how shithouse your team is....and Methcastle in general, is truly refreshing to say the least.

In fact (not sure how long this will last) but it's inspired me to address my own side with the same raw honesty that you have my friend.

So on that note, I hereby admit that the Broncos truly are the benchmark of the competition both on and off the field.
