Moeroa has been in and out of my team. I might be somewhat biased as I picked him up in a draft game. I think he could easily play 70+ mins if not 80 mins each week with Scott now at lock. Mid 40's is not out of the question so would see a nice little price rise.

I cannot confirm whether its legit hence why I am asking - I read about it on another forum where someone posted that a Sharks player (Graham I think) had said Segeyaro was training with the squad.

Could just be one bloke making up shit though...

It was already known that he was training with the Sharks. The issue remains that Leeds will not "release" him and the NRL won't register him if he is still considered under contract with them.

And Leeds are looking into taking him to court for breaching his contract.

So unless that stuff starts changing, he can train all he wants but it won't change much.

And good on them too. Really enjoy watching Segeyaro and miss him being in the comp, but he's contracted to Leeds and he shouldn't be able to just bugger off and play elsewhere. If someone else wants him then they should have to pay whatever Leeds want.

What was the transfer fee again? 400k? 450k? Does that count towards the salary cap?

I think it was 400k and yeah it counts against the cap.

itll be Moeroa v Gurgess for my team. I think Moeroa plays more minutes this year and with the shoulder issue supposedly fixed wont need injury breaks or miss as many tackles. Also think he finally shows what a good attacking game he has

Just a matter of time until Moeroa starts racking up big tackle counts. Unlike most U20's standouts he was a beast in defence.

Can't find room for him though.

It all depends on team lists.
I'll be playing Idris and have at least 2 or 3 of the others in my 25.
I'm looking for Cotric to be named on the wing so he gets DPP, also a possibility for Kelly, Talakai and Suli.

What's the latest on Mbye? Heard conflicting reports and curious to know if he's good to go. Got Cleeland in my team currently.

Moeroa could be a nice little POD, I just done some stats on him, and I think he was on a nudie run too

when starting Lock - ave 33.9 pts in 56.1 min for 0.603ppm. Not that good for a lock forward
    when starting 2rf   - ave 36.8 pts in 66.1 min for 0.556ppm.

He is currently priced with a 36.1 ave so a small room for improvement this year providing he does get the minutes. If he gets the 80 then I predict a 45 point average and surely playing on the edge will see him score more meat pies.

I love the idea of Moeroa every year. Its nice to see a bit of chat about him again. I have a star against his name but I've no room for him and I'm trying really hard to avoid players who have big warning signs over their heads.

Moeroa played on the edge for 3pts and I had him. It still hurts

Yeah plenty got burnt...it was a negative 6 or something in VSDT haha

In hindsight not a great idea to play 19 yo forward with a rooted shoulder
