A lot of those doubts will be cleared up over the next couple of weeks so I suggest not getting too attached to your team makeup and reassessing closer to rd 1

There has been a few whispers that J Wallace will get the 13 jersey. If so, makes him very appealing.

you going pretty top heavy atm JBG? What big guns are you running with? I like you am also liking the look of Gillett, but got burned end of last season by his drop in scores. Looking at him as an alternative to Buhrer POD or even paying the extra on ET if it seems like ET is getting too popular

I've got Smith, Fifita, JDB and Mannering in one of my team drafts. It makes me take a gamble in other departments and takes up a lot of money but 4 of the best keepers right off the bat.

Historically the best cash cows have not been in the prop position. Many coaches seem to blood young/inexperienced props slowly only playing them for 20-25 mins per game. I would be more inclined to go two guns/near guns and two midrangers with upside.

e.g something like McGuire, Vaughan, J Wallace, AFB - Its shaping that this will be my front row but I would like to fit Fifita in

Either aye, but possibly McGuire and Lamb. You know what you will get with these two so less risk.

Wallace named at Lock for the Titans trial Interestingly Karl Lawton named in 14 so not completely off the radar.

Firstly good to see you back around Loomer.

Make sure you sign up for the Fantasy Fanatics Leagues.

Regarding Taumalolo, he is priced quite high, but he could easily outscore his current average of 49 points if his minutes where more consistent. If he was able to get an extra ten minutes that would make him a sweet pick up. However they already have two guys playing 80 minutes an Taumalolo looks great as a destructive runner that is effective in short stints. He is also priced around the same amount as guys like Jake Trbojevic, Martin Taupau, Jamie Buhrer, Mitchell Barnett and even teammate Ethan Lowe that all are capable of similar scores, and/or a similar looking bump.

I still think we see someone like McQueen/Taia at lock for the Titans, Wallace most likely named there now to get some extra match fitness in the middle. Most locks play as frontrowers these days anyway.

Lawrence looked very trim at the Nines. Would be nice if he got back to that line breaking form from 2014, he might have found a yard or two!

Anyone else think that RFM will hold down that spot when Eastwood is included in the side?
Surely if the rumors of Des under pressure are true, he isn't going to run out the same forward pack.
But to play my own devil's advocate, the forward pack was never really the problem.
Still think he might feel the need to inject some new blood, a bit more mobility to a big pack.
Kid is fantasy gold too- loves to tackle, breaks tackles, offloads- definitely one to watch if he gets any sort of minutes.

Only TLT will tell, that shit can not come quick enough, yo.

    A couple of points

    - our forward pack is the least of our worries
    - Eastwood just signed a new contract, and one of our best performers last season
    - he is arguably our most mobile forward, even with his size
    - if RFM does indeed start, he will not get the minutes he needs for good scores
    - we have the worst bench in the comp, expect big minutes from the entire starting pack
