If Fergo gets fullback gigSashamaloo wrote:Who plays centre for roosters if fergy moves to fullback?
Aubo ? Skd?
I think neither are great options in real life or fantasy
1.Fergo
2.Tupou
3.Jennings
4.SKD
5.Burgess

Hoping of at least one surprise in the forwards after team lists to help spread the cap around but in saying that it would just mean another 40% owned player so won't help much

Don't usually like going with a pure centre unless they are either a gun or are a cheapie so would need to be priced nicely compared to other options for me to consider him

I always thought he was a potential gun centre, perhaps not in the fantasy sense as I wouldn't have a clue what makes what here.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Lafai was a gun in the Ctr year before last, took a dip last year he will be under strong consideration for me as my premier CTR. I like to start with one half decent Ctr normally a second rower with dual status and take a punt on a rook, but if Lafai is priced around $200,000 he goes straight into my teamHoneysett wrote:

He was a gun in 2014. But, like Dylan Walker as well, just didn't back it up this year.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
haha wasn't he top 2 in CTR scoring in 2014? Had a stupid AVG for a pure CTR sure it was well up in the 40's! I don't think I would start with him if he goes to the Titans though, unless Roberts moves on can't see both starting CTRs going well fantasy wiseSI wrote:Welshy beat me to it

Team lists will not be that kind to you.
Bren Jurgess no relation to Lurgess
No doubt but as I said Mannering, Parker, ect. (My 2RF) would be downgraded and adjusted accordingly to fit in cheapies..
..At least that is the plan.

Has all the skill it will just be if he and ths doggies/wherever he ends up at can be consistent enough. If he's less than 250k then definitely an option. Anything more and I would look to find ways of saving money and going for someone like Fergo, Croker, Chambers depending on how expensive the last 2 start as

I thought the new DT was hiroshami yakimoto. Goes pretty good in the Japanese Sumo League. Heard the Tigers were after him

what price did he end the year on? He had a few injuries last year and only scored 3/4 tries i would bet he goes close to 10 with an injury free run, guy is a tank

10 is definitely a reasonable expectation. Problem is that as he is a centre available as a ctr rather than a fullback/2rf it is harder for him to get enough points elsewhere to make him worthwhile unless cheap enough. Doesn't put in the defensive work so will be needing some TBs

Def mate! found this
Some key stats for Lafai from 2014 season, not discounting last years dip but i'm putting it down to injuries affecting him
GP 21
TR 11
LB 12
TK 242
TB 102
OF 21
RM 2135
those are pretty impressive for an out and out CTR, haven't done the work to see what that averages out as per game points wise
However you are only ever as good as your last game or season in this case, but i will be banking on a return to 2014 form
