I picked him up the week before his debut. Was one of few wins for my first year.

Anybody remember what date NRL Fantasy opened this year? Going to start a countdown timer.

Pretty sure it's been just after Australia Day the last 2 years.

So theres now talks of McQueen signing with the Panthers. They'll have a clusterfuck of backrowers they already have
Merrin, Taylor, Cartwright, Peachy, Yeo, Garcia, Sopoaga and Akauola?

Making some good fantasy prospects totally redundant.Mighty Fishes wrote:So theres now talks of McQueen signing with the Panthers. They'll have a clusterfuck of backrowers they already have

Merrin at prop by the sounds of it.
Peachey, Cartwright, Taylor, McQueen in back row rotation. Others injury cover or small stints only

One of the best sets of backrowers Fantasy wise and unfortunately it is also going to be a cluster fuck trying to predict what minutes they are going to get. Panthers are ok for props I think but Merrin could still end up there. Sopoaga played a bit of front row for the Sharks I think as well?
Cartwright served me well last year-bloke is a wonderful footballer.

Yeah I read that the other day on facebook. If he does sign (which seems probable) it probably scuppers Merrin's hopes of playing big minutes as I see him now in the front row rotation playing 50-55 minutes at the most.

Big money for a front rower if thats the way they go with Merrin.

Whats to say Merrin does go to prop anyway, there is no reason why he still play big mins. Josh McGuire was playing 65mins some games while Griffin was in charge. Latimore, McKendry, RCG and Merrin would be a pretty good rotation with Latimore looking to get the scraps of the mins.

My goal for the day is to now incorporate the word scupper into a lunch time conversation

Whats Merrins PPM? Surely he will still score anywhere between 50-60 points?

I know a lot of people consider lock and prop very similar roles these days, but i think they are different enough that you'd want to know what sort of role Merrin will play before worrying about what his PPM is from the dragons.

might take a few rounds for griffin to get the blend right so if each take their turns getting reduced minutes and generally f&cked about by round 5 or so could get a 10-15k discount on some of them.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Don't know if this has been raised, but does anyone have any approximate idea on what price SBurgess will be returning at? Will he come back at a reduced rate or will they base it on his 2014 average?
What's your opinion?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Nobody knows how Burgess will be priced.
His 2014 average was 62.57, which would price him at ~$552k.
I figure he'll probably get some sort of discount on that, but exactly what it is nobody knows

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Are we thinking the change of interchange will affect anything?
Longer minutes for second rowers, fewer for props like Fifita?
