FP put a lot of work into NRL Fantasy and survivor. Ha. Classic Sportal Survivor. Ironic that we survived and Sportal didn't.

Uncle Sproj was the SI of those days. An all-round nice guy.

FP was a legend. A bit like Random setting up this forum.

Milchow is like Teetotaller, with all the stats he provides (unless I'm missing something and Milchy is TT, haha).

With Simple Simon emerging from the VSDT thread, what's the chance of him meeting the Pieman ?

Arsen seems to be into his darts in a big way now which is awesome.

Good to see him in good spirits, since he was bit down for a while.

Great man Arsen. A trailblazer in the world of NRL DT. Creator of this thread and the man who inspired many of us back in 2009-10 and taught us how to play DT properly. Sportal was using his BE's back then before Lone Scout existed and I never heard LS even mention BE's before the 2011 season.

    .

Its also thanks to the prior work of Arsen (and also Teetotaller, another forgotten hero) that I am able to do the BEs that I do today

I am not TT, although I did shamelessly copy the colouring and format from his BE spreadsheet.

Also got some pointers form him on best way to make it a shareable image. If only he was still around today, he could possible help SI post images on the forum

Should I get rid of Bhana for Cleary via Lolo and Claw, or just go Holland to Cleary and let Bhana sit there? Probably gonna need to downgrade Holland anyway next week to upgrade Claw to Mannering, but am waiting to see if Hurrell can crack a starting spot. BE's of Mannering and Holland means it's not an urgent trade this week, but Cleary obviously a target this week. Claw though probably going down more though.

Not so sure he is obvious as a target at this stage of the season when trades are at a premium. He changes around that lot too much and with Cleary not playing in next week's bye round, he doesn't jump out at me as must have cash out. What is mannerings BE. I like that move as alternative to say SST route

I have 17 trades before trades this week. Mannering BE is 54. I already have SST so have exhausted that route haha.

I don't know to get him in or not to be honest. Might just go Bhana to Asiata. I don't know.

Classic! The internets bringing people together.

They catfished you, didn't they? Wink

EDIT: In all seriousness I met up with JB24 through Sportal when I first visited Melbs and he's become a good mate of mine. Looking forward to catching up with him for origin 2 for which he's taking a break from torturing people in South-East Asia (I'm not at liberty to say where exactly).

ended up going Lawrence to Cleary, Bhana to SST, means i have 13 for round 15 (i'm somehow doing better bye planning by complete fluke this year as opposed to when i was meticulous about it in years past).

have 77k left over, so hopefully Parcell can bridge that gap to friend soon.

Hey Milchy. I didn't think you were TT, but your work has always reminded me of TT.

TT took over from Arsen when Arsen left the forum, so it's good that you took over from TT when TT left the forum. Kudos to you mate. :-)

JB24 was one of my fellow Dragons on Sportal and a top bloke. Tell him ST says hello. Why doesn't he post on this forum?

I'll just go Bhana to Cleary this week and then trade Lawrence and Holland next week for eitehr Bromwich, Mannering, JTurbo or even JWH.

Hey ST, remember that time you got lost and clicked on the wrong thread then started talking about all the good old times on Sportal?

I believe you can still read about it in Fantasy threads part 6, 11, 17, 26, 31 and now part 38.

I remember derailing a sportal thread back in the day for about 4 pages by suggesting my favourite pie..... The pieman comment has me thinking how much I miss kiwi steak and cheese pies (And Georgie Pie) Wink

Anyways....Anyone else running with Cleary in their team until DCE is back?
Definitely has been the year of the rookie half
