I personally wouldn't trade him in when he's back anyway as he has at least 1 more price fall in him before he bottoms out.

Shit! Really, hadn't seen that! I can't afford to trade him
Out anyway been burning trades like nobodies business! Hopefully this extra week off allows sufficient time for him to get back out there next game

Don't own Mannering but I own Surgess but he's probably out the same period that Mannering will be. I'll have to play Grant & if Grant is still out I'll have to use a trade on one of them.

Think it depends on whether Takarangi is considered a longer term 5/8th prospect or whether they chuck a more recognised half in there.

Although with Jennings out for origin looks like he'll get first crack for the bye rounds at least.

Damn it, was expecting some injury updates and all we're getting is TBA. Understandable for some, but the Storm back 3 in particular have had a week to be assessed.

I saw an injury update video on Storm's website that was released Friday, and while they didn't mention Kennar's name, they showed a brief clip of his leg being twisted during the Warriors clash. Bastards.

I'm 1k short of straight upgrading KBrom to Tolman. Was hoping to use 3 trades by round 10, but we're only getting the 2 still. Have to decide which trades take priority this week between the above trade and cashing out Kennar for C. Scott (starred in Storm's lower grade game on the weekend and picked for Jnr. Roos for whoever asked.. seems injury prone, but whatever), or Gordon out for Aitken.

Probably make the Tolman trade first, he seems more likely to hit his BE over Aitken. With some luck, Gordon takes the extra week off and gives Guth the FB reins.

As for the grammar discussion.. "For mine" sounds fine to me. It's the "would of/should of/could of" that shit me.. It's would've/would have...

Does anyone know the deal with why Kata's scores have dropped so much recently, other than just because he is an inconsistent Warrior? He had a 4 game stretch where his scores were 48, 48, 50, 50, so I thought I was onto a winner. But he hasn't scored over 31 since.
If Kata's going to go, he needs to go soon, though. He lost me 20k this week, and I don't know his current BE but I would guess if would be around 60?

Any thoughts on what I should do?

I started with Kata last year when he was basement price. Think he peaked at about 330k and I traded him out at ~310 before he dropped even further. Was hitting a lot of 20s, which is pretty typical for a centre when they aren't scoring tries, and it looks like he's back to that kind of form.

Off the top of my head, the best fantasy centres last year were Soliola (SR), JBird (HLF), Dugan (FB) and Aitken as the top true centre.. that's why Aitken's name is being thrown around a lot now that he's down to 320k.

Would wait and see on Lawrence after rep round and see if ET affects him at all. I stupidly traded CLaw for RTS and then Lolohea, so you bet I'm hoping that he crashes back to earth.

Unless rookie Bevan French gets the nod. Supposedly coming back from injury round 10. Doubt he will make his way into the current side, but a potential rival for Toutai for the wing spot in bye rounds

Also, any word on how Curtis Scott is going? I hear he was listed to play in the NYC. Did he play? did he come through it OK? Hoping to hold him through the bye rounds to get some extra points.

Curtis Scott has been named as a starting winger for the Junior Kangaroos match this weekend. With Harris playing centre yesterday, Scott might still have a shot at the starting centre position this season.

Yeah I'm already eyeing off ET as a bye purchase and cut-price keeper. He'll make 50 tackles a game and do that whole 80 minute defensive workhorse role that the Tigers need and he's still got a bit of cash to drop the week before the bye round.

Not convinced he'll get 80 and be a keeper, there's a few backrowers already plus JT has a man-crush on Halatau.

Taylor, Halatau, Siro, Lovett, Sue and Claw. 6 backrowers right there, with Lovett potentially to go back to NSW Cup.

Surely he is a hold, especially with the time off due to the rep round. Then again some people already have so many red dots and don't have any depth whatsoever (which they were rewarded for with Gutherson's 85...)

Had other options but still chose to play him. Yes lucky choice in 4th reserve but sometimes it pays off

you're right, might use that 2nd trade after all, I'll reverse that & bring in De Gois & Mannah instead, can never have enough Eels in my squad, they play all 3 big byes after all.
