Will have to blow all 4 trades this week to go for it...

LORD of the BYES - Round 16 Results

The second major bye is now complete, with only one to go.

Boozecluez is really starting to drain my superlatives, so I'll just describe this week's efforts as a highly satisfactory 924 points (which just so happened to be the second-highest score of the week).

The Top 20 this week:

The Leaderboard is slowly starting to consolidate with a top two that mirrors the Overall top two - well done Booze and Ando - proving that good things come to those who plan/manage their byes (unless you're Camo)

The Leaderboard:

It was a particularly high averaging bye round, which largely meant that the more players you played, the better you did.

LORD of the BYES - Round 16 Results

The majority of our teams managed to field 12 or 13 players this week, so there were some good opportunities to make gains especially if you scored near 800+.

standard-issue showed his bye-round brilliance with a grand 783 to move up 2000 places.
Despite Booze's 900 pointer, he failed to improve his rank with what can only be described as a somewhat disappointing effort - do better

The Top 20 rank improvers this week:

2021 LOTB Champion Pain looks to almost have this one wrapped up at the halfway stage with 19k in ranks gained.

The Rank Improvers Leaderboard:

The relative rank improver leaderboard shows the percentage of teams ahead of each team prior to Round 13, that they have managed to overtake.
Well done to precursor who has been slowly moving his way up the board and now sits in pole position with 5/6th's of teams overtaken compared to his starting rank.

I don't have enough ranks to catch Pain on the rank gain leaderboard. So I'll have to go after Precursor on the relative rank improvers leaderboard.

Feel like I've been tracking pretty well over the byes. What?! Two people ahead of me? '1st and 2nd place' ahh... makes sense.

If anything it proves the point about having bye friendly players or at least targeting them
Not without risk (lost Moses,Robson,cook,hedwards alone this week) but the potential is there it the stars align
Now just got to get through the next few weeks

We're in the back half of the competition!

This week moanaman topped the round with a tantalising 999 points (and no doubt was hoping for a 1 point update).
Despite only fielding 16 players, Chewie managed a very impressive 977 points.

The Top 20 this week:

The Leaderboard continues to tighten up with no changes in the top 5 places.
However, sometimes the non-bye rounds can provide a boost to those that haven't indulged in heavy bye-planning.
It's still anyone's game, but for now, everything is Boozecluez

Most teams managed to field 17 players this round, and it was a tough one to make gains.

SeattleSupersonics lead the charge with a thunderous 930 rank jump.

The Top 20 rank improvers this week:

Pain continues to hold onto the top, and it already seems like he has this one locked up.

The relative rank improver leaderboard shows the percentage of teams ahead of each team prior to Round 13, that they have managed to overtake.

precursor continues to top the table, but Papadontbleach and ForanAgainst are edging closer.

LORD of the BYES - Round 18 Results

The last 8-game week of the Lord of the Byes saw some huge scores from popular players (Drinkwater, Hynes, Ponga, Tapine, Fifita and Haas to name a few).

One player to take full advantage was UKJC with a massive 1,176 points.
This week Cookie Monster also managed to defy the odds by scoring a quality 1,057 points with just 16 on the field.

The Top 20 this week:

No surprises at the top with Boozecluez, Precursor and Ando continuing to dominate. But there were some big movers in ytsb and the_great_wobbler storming into fourth and fifth place.

With so many popular players going large, it proved to be another difficult round to make much headway. Still multiple.scoregasms and White Lightning managed to gain one thousand spots on where they were.

No surprises to see Pain still at the top, and the top 4 are looking pretty settled right now.

The Rank Improvers Leaderboard:

The relative rank improver leaderboard shows the percentage of teams ahead of each team prior to Round 13, that they have managed to overtake.

precursor retains the podium position, with four teams now having passed 80% of the teams that were ahead of them when this competition began.

This league is so tough. Improved 3 places to 101 overall, lost 3 places to 12th in this.

So par for around 100th is not enough to hold ground in LoTBs
