    Given the thread title...

In the market for a MID 550-600k. Can see these options, none of them ideal.

McINNIS - Finucane out for three games. Rudolf out long-term, but not sure that matters. High BE. No Round 13. Three weeks of 60-minute decent scores then back to bench?

HORSBURGH - Playing lock now, but Ricky? Bye coming up but then does play 13, or does he get Origin?

FOTOAIKA - Titans pretty low on middle stocks with Joliffe out for season. Clear schedule until byes but then no Round 13. Up-and-down scoring but high ceiling. Origin chance?

TAUMALOLO - Heritage pick. Played injured last round apparently. Cowboys stink again so might need him to work hard again, can the old JT13 return? No Origin and great bye schedule.

    Anyone want to rank them?

Any interest in Leo Thompson? Seems to have the starting role and minutes on merit. Last five average of 50. Plays round 13.

Not a bad shout. Will have to check when Elliott back. Saifiti suspension too, back Round 8, but he definitely goes on the list.

Not going anywhere near Mann again. Am very partial to a bit of Pangai, but know it's no good for me, like KFC.

Great analogy. New nickname for TPJ = KFC.

I would love to cheer on a Cowboy, was half looking the other day and thought maybe Robson, Lolo, Drinkwater the most likely. But I'm probably holding off for now.

Yeah Mann a bit of a mrfixit. I'm hoping Pangai for my draft team, hard to trust him in overall, but.. maybe

I was sceptical of Hopgood being a trade out, but after today's game I've seen enough.
Love the guy, but 50 mins doesn't make him a keeper.
The good news is that he'll give me some extra cash to play with...
Thinking of getting Hynes & Bird into the team this week for Hopgood & Loiero.
    Carty can stay for now

Somehow, I know that keeping some bank for Hynes, instead of going after the Hoskin’s, HTF’s, and Walsh’s of fantasy land, has been pivotal in my sudden drop from 2811(end of round 4) to 7149(current).

I’ve identified the problem, but zero idea on how to solve it.

How likely do you think Robson is for Origin?

In the market for a Hooker and someone who can hopefully hold the fort down through round 13 would be ideal. Egan is just too fragile/concussion prone. Was going to be Brailey but got lucky I held off a week on that

I have NFI about Robson for Origin. But the chance is greater than zero. I don't think in round six last year many would have thought Cook ultimately gets benched for Koroisau. Who knows what Fittler is thinking. He's prone to a bit of randomness and under pressure to win I would think. And Robson is the best defensive hooker in the comp (if you ask Todd Payten). I like to hold off on those bigger bye round decisions until closer to the byes (unless the value is compelling, which is why Brailey owners are especially unlucky) so I'll be continuing to run with Cook for now.

Hess also has a good draw and seems locked in for 80 with cow injuries. Nanai due back but iirc Luki out?
