I know what you mean though. I was happy he scored the try at least as I figured his minutes would be down again. Worked out well really but could have gone huge if they were playing a competitive team.

I've only got the standard Ford/Preston/Alamoti left so I will lose some to the Hynes, Mahoney, SJ and Robson owners but none of those guys are particularly highly owned at least

I suspect I'll finish the round top 2000 but maybe not top 1000 (was 3103 at the start of the round)

110th in play from about 470th at beginning of round with 822/14c, only SJ, Ford and Preston to play. Suspect I'll end up about where I started, but a 60 average from tomorrow's trio would be nice.

I don't have Ford, but just realised my current score does not include my looper IKatoa, I am waiting to see if Trindall miraculously gets named to start (no chance).

I am just having fun, my theory of picking exciting players to watch is working thus far Razz

Yeah, good day in Fantasy but I want to go to Tim Sheens' house tomorrow and kick his walls and spit on his grass. All I can see is Blore's score, after I traded him out this week and held onto Trindall because the maggot didn't name Blore in his 17. As my trade-ins were Hosking and Brailey (no regrets about the trade-ins), by the time Blore was named on the bench everything was already locked out. Really frustrating and wouldn't mind a hard trout across Sheens' face.

Oof! This is the type of scenario that would seriously make you want to quit. Tough luck there Teeth.

You had a pretty poor first week or two of I remember correctly? Respect for pulling that comeback out. Well done

    Cheers mate Smile

Round 1 I was 34k, deliberately tanked that week because I started with both Bird and Walsh. I had a great round 2 (34k to 10k), then a mediocre round 3 (10k to 8k), then a big one last week (8k to 3k).

I've gotten very lucky with my decisions on trades, I've basically nailed every single one except for buying Reynolds over Cook last week, and that hasn't even been that bad. I got rid of Cheese in round 1 for the Carty Party, got on Hammer that week as well, and started with both Preston and Ford so I didn't need to use a trade buying those two.

Compared to last year, I've really been able to be proactive with my trades rather than reactive, and have played a straight bat when it comes to captaincy (captained Cleary every week except for Hopgood round 3).

To cap it off, I might not even need to make any trades next week, as Sloan saved himself with some late junk and there don't seem to be any cheapie must-haves next week.

I've followed a similar philosophy, it's why I started with Walsh and why I didn't get trapped by guys such as Doorey and BMM.

I got greedy with BMM, should have known better - he became Lemmy, I had to take HSS 4 this round which hurts, but I am happy.

Luckily I dodged HSS, though I did get trapped by Talau at the start - so glad I sold him for 277k Sloan in round 3 Very Happy

    Yes but

He has barely been tested defensively - We all know is attack is fine, it was the same at the Warriors (Better now though), his negative has always been his defense

Nice, 13c/684 here so definitely below par. Teddy/CHaas hurting along with HTF, IKatoa, Carty, Carrigan and Ekatoa

Boyd is my loop, so I could pick and choose, also I switched out my initial trade of BMM to Ford to get in Lemmy after HSS stunk up my CTR.

I have Boyd (bye) IKatoa and Trindall I was able to rotate around.

Warbrick in the 18, IKatoa at 19, Trindall at 20, Boyd in the half pos.
