Hindsight is so funny. I had done Nanai + Critter > Talakai and Mulitalo at some point and thought “nawww, better not trade out my bye players”. Now after that game, it seems like the most ridiculous trade to have not made

Talakai projected to make 123k, is that the biggest single week price rise? I remember Hynes made over 100k last year, but don't think it was quite that much was it?

Hey, just realised that Koula scored twice as many points as Talakai and Mulitalo combined in the second half last night.

Looking at yafss.com it appears that 8% of top 1000 teams brought Talakai in this week, on top of the 7% that already had him. So only 15% will have had him in their team this week. Could see a big shake up at the top.

Can we please spare a thought for those spectators who only got to see the backs of the players jerseys as they were making their way down to the try scoring end of the field?

Hope to see a good game from the Cheese this week, eyeing up going Nanai to him next week which feels like a massive upgrade if Smith can get back to anywhere near his best

Missed the game due to a migraine - Talakai obviously an insane stats line, and those who got him at any point over the last month have been rewarded for a great punt. Great play, wish I’d done the same.

Can’t say I’m seeing the worth in Mulitalo. A winger costing 576k making a 2-try 47.

Yesterdays game gave me every confidence that Mulitalo will be a try scoring machine outside Talakai. If they didn't stop giving Talakai the ball in the 2nd half Mulitalo goes 60+ easily. Was on 47 at half time. My premise was that Talakai could be the next Latrell or Turbo setting up his winger for lots of tries. That was confirmed to be the case in this game in an amazing display.

Could have easily had another try or 2 in that first half as well where he was unmarked on the wing, like in the Wilton try.

Was also a really unusual game, with Manly either standing under their posts most of the first half and rarely getting to a kick on the last in the 2nd half, for Mulitalo to run it back at them.

When defences try to rush Talakai, Mulitalo will be the one benefitting from that, with an easy run to the line (hopefully they just reach him for a TB or 2).

Mulitalo has averaged 59 in the 4 games that Talakai has been the CTR inside him and I expect that to continue. All 9 of the Sharks tries in the last 2 games have been through the left edge and they would be foolish to send the ball anywhere else with the form Talakai is in.

You really need to watch the first half to understand fully.
