Funnily enough, his average playing both 40+ & 50+ minutes is higher starting at lock than it is starting at hooker.

    Confused by this?

It reads to me like 27.3% of the top 1000 was made up of teams that started from outside 10,000th

I confused myself for a minute too.
So, yeah, 27.3% of the top 1k came from outside the top 10k in R1.

But on the flipside, imagine the top 50k in R1 are still viable to make it into the top 1k by seasons end.

Thats 40,000 teams between 10,000 and 50,000. (Originally I was thinking between 10 and 20k)
But ony 273 of that made it, i.e. 273/40000
Or 0.7% in a broad statistical sense

If you're better then the odds are better, but pays not to start too far behind the 8 ball

Also a can of Guinness is in me.

As long as you were both safe and have plans to remove the can

Think we are in for 2 big games tonight, looking forward to it

Sell him if you want to but as someone just said...a lot of these podcast guys have just as much difficulty differentiating their arse from their elbow as most of us have. Just because they roll out multiple over complicated spreadsheets doesn't mean their decisions or recommendations are going to be any better. The resources made available by Mich, MTVB & Ynot are all you need (plus your own peepers and brain).

I have actually found an inverse relationship between the amount of info I have taken onboard and my own results as the years go by Very Happy Very Happy

Well said Brother and I concur this joint is where the cool kids hang, only wasting time and energy looking elsewhere.

Its funny that so far this season, the 5 highest ownership players have been flops:
    ISAIYA KATOA 64.37%
    PAUL ALAMOTI 62.50%
    NATHAN CLEARY 57.77%
    BRANDON SMITH 56.92%

Main reason I sold cheese was to sure up my centres by trading a cheap centre who scores 17 for a more expensive centre who scores 12

    R1
Autofill team scored 810 Ranked 14318
'Main' team scored 798 Ranked 19100

    12 points 4782 places

It's really tight R1 and 4 of the highest owned Guns have played R2. My main team only had Cleary (not captain) play and dropped 31900 places to 51010

Yeah I’m not saying there aren’t reasons to sell him but “he didn’t get the role” is BS and “rib injury” seems BS. It’s hectic given this time last week he was probably in the same peoples must have, no brainer picks.

My narrative is that I have four Roosters,  so...

I mainly went with Cheese because there is safety in numbers, high ownership, low risk.
He was in the conversation at the start of the 2022 season as well, but only hit a purple patch from round 16 onwards, I'm happy to hold for now, but he'll be on the chopping block if there is no improvement by round 4.

On a side note, I tried searching for "Cheese" on the footystatistics website and I didn't get any hits. @SI I thought we had added nicknames to the search engine, what's going on?

Not doubting you, it's just that the Late Mail released an hour ago only says he's in doubt...

Do we have a confirmation that he failed it?

If he's confirmed out i'll keep IKatoa instead of Blore and see how he goes.

    70 minimum every week.
Is that too much to ask?
I never saw CS9 go low for two rounds.

A bit more than that you would expect when Carty is pulling out a 90 this afternoon.

What is Carty's 90 miunute average playing a mid edge bench role with Gutherson at fullback ?
