On the base price guys... Hola is a base price MID who played at second row in the cows scrimmage against the Hawks and apparently spent almost all pre-season in the second row... Payten also talked him up as a 2RF option earlier in the year, so if he gets the gig could be a nice DPP base player

Plenty of value picks in the EDG position, not many underpriced guns though.
I think Crichton, priced at 62 is probably about right.
Matterson has potential to have a good run with an avg higher than what he's priced at...but HIA risk is there and will probably bring his avg down.
    Tohu is priced about right.
DFifita is probably the only one I feel that has some upside if he stays fit.

This is why I think Edg this year is the year to go Gun/Cow... I have Crichton and whichever cow out of Riki, Hola, Blore etc get the start will take up the remaining spot + bench.

For the first time ever playing fantasy I have found myself settled on a gun backs side that I prefer to a gun forwards team.
    This game has changed.

this whole thing cracks me up hey.

i still use fb a bit when wasting time, but i blocked/muted and curated so much rubbish content over the years that its literally just posts from DIY groups / community groups / and a couple of lol/meme type pages for me these days.

I guess the Titans have finally had enough of the attention. Big Mal has confirmed there is no chance of them signing Cam Smith

“We haven’t talked to Cam Smith, that is 100 per cent fact,” Meninga said.

    “It really is that simple.

“There is all sorts of talk about him living on the Gold Coast and playing for us, but we haven’t spoken to him.

“I don’t have any idea what Cam is doing. I don’t know if he’s retiring. I’m in the dark like everyone else. But I know he won’t be at the Titans.

“Look, the reality is he is a Melbourne boy and the Storm have some very powerful businessmen.

“Because he was down at Mudgeeraba in a light blue shirt kicking a footy around in boots people want to think he’s going to sign with the Titans.

“I wasn’t behind the toilet shed trying to sign him I can tell you.

“He won’t be with us, simple as that.”

I guess if serious it might mean I am again interested in Lodge, and that TPJ probably holds value playing in the middle.

How’s Mal’s cred? If Bennett had said that then it would mean he was about to sign with the Rabbits.

Connor Tracey will probably be my 3rd WFB given he will jag the fullback spot at the Sharks.
Seems to be one of the only cashcow fullbacks I would be comfortable playing. Will get DPP too, and serviceable for 6-7 rounds at least.

No way I can say that about Simonsson, Moylan, Niu.

I knew it was all to do with wearing a blue t-shirt!

Personally, I don't think it ultimately benefits the Titans enough to sign him. They have a spine that was operating pretty well back half of last year - they have two halves that look like they are feeling confident. I can't help but think if Smith went there it would undermine that, and realistically the Titans aren't going to go from outside the 8 (for a few years) to winning a premiership inside a year.

I still think IF he plays, it's either at the Storm (seems unlikely), or the Bronco's (would probably be a great fit at their spine needs a bit of direction/experience/confidence).

The Chad on TK podcast seemed to feel he's in with a pretty strong shot (but that nothing was "set in stone"). Still, if SJ is back early then it sounds like Moylan will be back at Fullback quickly (recall Morris saying as much).
