The problem with lemulelu is that he is his main value comes from being a centra, and if you trade trindall to him you have 4 centres, which no one needs (included HTF at centres)

What are your future half plans? Because boyd seems like a weak link as a starter

(Full disclosure I am starting him this week at half and not happy about it)

Can`t quite get to Johnson with current trades, If I went Trindall to Ford it would enable me to grab Johnson.

Would Argue I`d rather have Boyd in my starting team then Warbrick.

What are your thoughts on Walsh?

Absolutely huge walsh fan, think he will round off your WFB nicely,

Broncos are a different level this year and will put lots of points on teams, he will be well in the mix,

I’m possibly naive expecting huge things from walsh, so def think he’s a go

My question wasn’t really aimed at this week, it was more do you see boyd playable week to week, I enjoy having boyd in my interchange, but am looking to bring in a half next week

Fair, I think I`m slightly higher on Boyd than others.

For me I`m happy for him to be starting for me until the opportunity to buy a gun half comes up.

I think at this stage I will still be looking for value players instead of directly looking to bring a half in due to my confidence in Boyd.

I think this makes sense aha

    Current Trades

Ebutcher and Trindall to SJ and Ford.

Really like the look of SJ and need to complete the trindall downgrade to get it done, not ideal but strengthens the team up for future rounds.

no suggestions, but great side, with great job roles for every player,

with ford not even making the interchange this week shows how full the squad is,

I also think that SOS injury will be good for Isiah Katoa,

you were the captain away from a monstrous score

    well played

    Round 5 Review
    Score 1006
    Overall Rank 1279

    Team Was

    Grant
    Murray Hopgood Carrigan
    Katoa Cartwright
    Cleary SJ
    HTF Alamoti
    Latrell Miller Warbrick

    Preston Ford Loiero Uto

    Boyd Katoa Doorey HSS

    The Good

-Majority of the team playing really well and cash generating nicely.
-Top Tier Guns gunning it, payed top dollar for these guys and it`s paying off.
-Saved 2 trades last week and still had a rank rise.

    The Bad

-Carrigan and Latrell not playing to their pricepoint and gun status might have to look at moving one on (Probably a hold for now though)
    - Cartwright and Uto look about done with a couple of others not looking too far behind.

    Early Round 6 thoughts

Pending Hosking status looking at Uto and Carty to Hosking and Knick

Will see on this a lot can change.

Have saved 3 trades now and the rank is slowly rising, overall good start.

Any thoughts on what to do in Round 6 are appreciated.

Congrats on cracking the 1000! Great week for you.

I like those trades. I'd personally want to hold Carty to see what happens with the team dynamics as people come back. If you can manage Uto and Doorey to Hosking and Kodi then that's a win in my book. I can see why you'd rather move on Carty though especially after last week

Definitely tossing up Uto over Carty.

Just hard to see carty getting 80.

I think of those two I'd be trading Carty. Not sure he has that much more money to make even if he keeps playing 80 - 3 more weeks of 45s gets him another 35-45k - plus the questions over role & JS now with Lane back.

Stefano seems pretty solid for a 40 minimum with upside of 50+ and better JS going forward, I wouldn't be rushing to get rid of him.

MID cover might be a bit of an issue after trading Hopgood, McInnes possible option?

I think Frizell needed to picked up last round if you were looking at him because now has awkward 3 games then a bye and then 3 games and a bye (R10, R14 byes)

Didn't think about the byes, just saw the scores and was super keen.

What are your expectations of Mcinnes?

Hey mate my thoughts on McInnes are he plays around 60mins the next 3 weeks but when Finucane is back my concern is he goes back to 50mins off the bench. His BE is 57 this week too I’m not sure he’s gonna make 120k and get back up to 700k which is what you want. Sharks are running a 4 forward bench too and probs will keep it that way upcoming.

On Loiero his BE is 26 I feel you can hold him til Round 9 and squeeze another 40k out of him.

I’m personally looking to maybe bring in Matto.

On Walsh their draw gets hard from round 9 through to 12 you’d think he has a couple of lower games. CNK I’m liking he’s buys scoring in that low 40’s range still value there but how many Warriors do you have? I do not think I would want 3 come round 12 as they have the bye.

With having Carty at 17th man actually yes I can see why you might trade Loiero out.

On Warbrick the last two right wingers that played Manly have scored 58 and 79. Garrick is out too. Warbrick could go well this week and Munster is FB.

Teddy probs one to look at next week if he pulls through the game this week.

Anyway good luck mate you’re on fire braining it right at the top of the FOG League.

On Alamoti I’m worried on him now without Addo feel he could be a sell next 2-3 weeks.

Mate can you please check out my team tracker as well. I would appreciate that.

Currently going Hopgood, Alamoti, HSS to Bird, CNK, Couchman

The trades aren`t huge upgrades however firms up the squad.

    Leaves me with

    Grant
    Murray Ford Carrigan
    Loiero Katoa
    Cleary SJ
    Bird HTF
    Miller Latrell CNK

    Boyd Hosking Cartwright Preston
    Couchman Katoa Knick Warbrick

Lacks a bit in the Mids but lot`s of potential upgrades in the coming weeks.

Looks Gun Shy but the overall squad is very well rounded

Thoughts on this? Am I better off going Hopgood, Loiero, HSS to Frizz/Mcinnes, Couchman, CNK/Walsh

    Round 7 Score 817
    Overall Rank 331

    Team Was

    Grant
    Murray Ford Carrigan
    Katoa Loiero
    Cleary (C) SJ
    Bird Hammer
    Miller Latrell Warbrick

    Boyd Hosking Preston Carty
    Alamoti Katoa Niko Couchman

    The Good
    - Another rank rise have been on the up since round 2
    - Another good week for Latrell which always seems to result in a rank rise
    - Mid Rangers still going strong mostly
    - Warbrick was serviceable this week
    - Bird trade was a good one

    The Bad
    - Carrigan is killing me, imagine if I started with Haas, so painful to watch will take every ounce of my being not to trade him
    - Carty lost his role
    - Couchman trade not ideal

    Thoughts for next week
    Currently have 77k

    Trade out options
    Carrigan
    Carty
    Alamoti
    Warbrick
    EKatoa

    Trade In Options
    Matto
    Teddy
    JDB
    TPJ
    BSmith
    DFifi

Hoping the rank rises continue and to start getting in the bye planning zone.

    Any thoughts are always appreciated.

    Cheers

Teddy looks an obvious one, Alamoti might have run his course, bulldogs pretty poor and you have the two best centres

Nice write up and great rank

Carrigan, Katoa, Alamoti and Carty free up heaps of cash for you.

Think you’d need 2 mids for team balance but after that go get anyone you want from your list. Very jealous that you can make so many moves in the coming weeks. Best of luck!
