It’s funny googled Robert Simeon there’s a Twitter account, no tweets since 2020 but lots of Manly related ones then, so assume it’s the same guy. He was very critical of Folau in 2019. Now the Manly lads aren’t being explicitly homophobic in the way Folau was, so it’s not apples and apples, but it’s interesting how your perspective can change

What they write: "head of Manly supporters group"
What they mean: "guy who runs a facebook page"

Biggest call is who to dump for Haas. Can make a case for any of them.

Lolo's average drops 10 points with Cotter playing, so I'd either dump him or Mitch Moses, who has a tough run home.

Thanks great one.  Moses out means I can save the Mbye trade this week.  Their run home is what concerned me.  Have a feeling Barnett will be decent enough to keep for the run home.  Lolo has the high ceiling but as you say, Cotter kills his minutes. Definitely a tough one but can finalise that choice tomorrow. Moses feels safer keeping as at least he's on the field for 80.

Panthers confirm a high grade MCL injury for Jarome Luai, set to miss the “best part of 6 weeks”. Even a complete MCL tear (grade 3) rarely requires surgery, as the ligament has great healing potential. Brace utilised early to position the MCL in optimum healing range

Some big plays being put forward this week. The extra 4 trades are a success do we think?

    For me I'm seriously considering
    Koula - Mbye
    Ponga - Cook
Ofa - Haas (has to be Ofa/Elliott to afford it and DPP decides it for me I think)

    Worth?

    Cheers, its true.  Now is probably not the time to hold fire.  I think I'll do 3 trades leaving me with 2 for the run home.  I think Lolo is the trade out over Moses or Barnett.  Trades are;

    Koula - Ted
    Palasia - Mbye
    Lolo - Haas

    Gives me;

    Cook
    McInnes Haas IPap
    Crichton Harris
    DCE Cleary
    Burton Aitken
    Ted Hynes Mitchell

    Robson Elliot Doueihi Matamua

    Moses Barnett MBye Kennedy

Not sure if 2 halves on the interchange is too weak over Lolo but can loop Moses and Barnett.

Any opinions on keeping Lolo over the other two I'm all ears.

    I would definitely do this

Sukula-Fifita worth considering as a cash out?
Starting FRF this week suggests he’s up the pecking order?

Thoughts on RFM, Koula & Jahrome Hughes to Butcher, Cook & Mbye?

Ideally would want to keep Hughes, but I'm not convinced on his scoring, and I really do want to bring in Cook!

Nicholls injury not as bad as first thought just a muscle strain mate if not back next week will be the week after.

That’d likely see DSF go back to 18th man.

Listening to all this talk about not being conservative, I now trying to figure out how to get Teddy in.

Got me looking at Mitchell Moses as a sell. Match ups aren't important but this year:

    > playing teams higher on the ladder than the Eels he averages 44
    > playing teams lower on the ladder than the Eels he averages 57

    Hmmmm

OK, what about this. In 2022,

    Edrick Lee with Ponga 26.4
    Edrick Lee without Ponga 64.6

    Leaves me:
    Grant
    Lolo, Haas, Angus
    Tohu, Elliott
    DCE, Cleary
    Burton, Manu
    Doueihi, Hynes, Latrell

    Cook, iPap, Murray, RFM
    Tago, Mam, Mbye, Palasia

I’ve brought in the same 3. Cook is a huge upgrade over Hughes

Hey lads bit of a predicament! Going for H2H not points. 9 trades before trading.

    Grant
    Lolo Elliot Haas
    Angus C Tohu
    Hynes Cleary
    Tass Aikten
    Doughi Mitchell Ponga

    Robson Fifita Hughes Cotter
    Kennedy Koula RFM Pole

Ponga - Teddy, Lolo - Ipap, Koula - Booth, Kennedy - Mbye with 250k left ITB.

    OR

Ponga - Teddy, Lolo - Ipap, RFM - Butcher, Koula - Booth with 2K left ITB

I like the money in the bank and not having to trade RFM, but butcher gives me some depth. Thoughts?
