Went to last nights game and it was pretty cool. I can now see what's up with this Lions squad. Their B Team is a pack of shit, their A team will cause some NZ sides problems!

The thing that stood out for me at the game last night is these jokers from the NH cant pass and catch when they need to. So many basic handling errors. It really is amateur stuff. What do the NH teams do in training at a young age? Line-outs scrums and goal kicking? Cause it sure aint getting out there and running around with the ball.

Fucken great win by the Highlanders though. Humble pie re my predictions though Smile

Yeah, I have to say I would be too after that game. I'm a little in shock at how bad the Lions are. It's the so called "micro-skills" which are appalling. Catch and pass, catch and pass. Thats all Warren needs to drill with them and Warren-ball would be producing minimum 2 tries more per game. It seriously like they get white line fever any time they get remotely close to scoring. Happened in each of the games they have played on tour, often the last pass before what would be a try. Its crazy stuff.

There does seem to be a pretty big difference between their A and B teams though. I still think they might win this weekend but lets see if I can go 0 from 3 Smile

Disclaimer that I'm not actually betting on this but for those that are considering it, this is by far the weakest super rugby team the lions have faced this tour. I'd expect the lions to win and cover the spread -3.5 if u can still get it.

Load up on NSW for game 3 now before Thurston is ruled out. $2.15 on Sportsbet. Might throw $500 on.

Got on at $2.10 this morning before Thurston & Boyd were ruled out. NSW have come into $1.85 favourites now.

Also took NSW 13+ at $6.50

Persoanlly don't think it matters, Qld time and time again show they can win anytime. Game 2 a prime example. Unless ur getting 4/1 or more, u cant be so confident.

Those 1/2 half stats that Middleton just produced would be worth considering for future bets

My play this weekend is Warriors/Manly HT/FT

Warriors don't win over here but seem to do well first half.

As mentioned earlier I took NSW 13+ the morning of but before Thurston's withdrawal. NSW have since come in to $4.25. I'm being offered a cash out of 10.08% over my original stake and the game is still 10 days away.

As they say. That's better than bank interest.

Sorry mate, only just saw this now... bit late, but it may have saved you money. I was picking the Lions, and to be honest if they had of used their bench in this they would have won it, but for some reason Gatland effectively sacrificed the game by choosing to not use his bench. Ended up blowing a 14 point led in the last 10 min and the game was a draw.

My tip though, after the Lions won game 2 would be to back the ABs in the decider. Will wait to see the teams and odds and then get back to you!
