    Off topic, but I went to bed last night when the Black Caps had England 70-odd/6. Woke up to see them 264/6, racing along at 5 an over. Yuck, absolutely ropeable with that.

    Looking forward to some high-quality test footy to wash that bad taste out of my mouth.

    SBW as a commentator is almost a comedy show. Channel nine obviously not paying for rights to his brain, or he struggles to use it.

    The Hughes and Brown combo is the best Kiwis halves pairing I remember for a long time.

    And with Smith and Manu that's a genuine world class spine.
