Didn't realise Barnett was that cheap. Maybe I can keep Cotter and get Barnett in for Koula

Victor seems a fairly likeable rogue, who would have club officials on red alert after hours.  Guys like that can wind up good captains.

    Looking at;

    Aitken - Barnett
    Tago - Bird
    Fermor - Moses

Could do the third one next week though.

Scored 68 and 51 this year on the edge (the 51 was with a HIA also)

Easy straight swap from a Butcher or Aitken. Also plays Round 17. Should everyone not be getting him?

I have thought of it but I'm already trading Tago and Koula to Papy and Kennedy, so would need to trade someone like May to get Barnett in, and considering how few trades I have left, I don't think I can justify it.

Even if Papy doesn't play, if I get Barnett in for Tago in one trade, I have no realistic way of raising the money I would need to trade Koula to Papy next week.

Got doubts Sticky has the tolerance for a young FB like Savage, wouldn't be surprised if he benches him or has CNK eat into his minutes

Surely you would sign Brown ahead of Lodge.

Not sure Barnett is a buy with L. Fitzgibbon sniffing around it’s risky.

I've been waiting all year for his price to drop to pick him up PYTM.
The problem is his 72BE, he still has 15-20k to lose and is playing busted.
I just can't see him smashing out a 70+ anytime soon.

Are his stats not boosted by the 2 tries though? Garner averaging 44 in EDGE this year, with 2 tries. Base of about 35

Bird Avg of 37, take out the 3 games where he was missing every tackle due to his arm and he's 42.5 with 2 tries.
Base looks very similar and that's with Bird with little to no attacking TB's anymore and plenty of missed tackles.
Now that Aitken has (for the time being) switched back out to the centres, I'm keeping an eye on Bird as my 2nd final 17 centre too.
Burton is nailed on, Avo is holding the place. Kiraz is getting ready to get milked.
I'm not convinced that Wests are going to provide Garner with a lot of attacking stats and he's not the Edge that Bird is. Dragons will score more points than Tigers.

Longterm 2RF averages playing 70+ minutes

    Garner 49.4

    Bird 41.1

I thought the pole gifs were something to do with the Radley chatter for a moment...

I legit can't recall if I still have Reyno or not, I haven't opened the app since the last Nrl game. Good spell was needed.

    Same retort from me.

Why would he suddenly average more than his 42 career average at CTR?

I think what he means is averages more than other centres , but at his price now he would want to.

Oh, I agree that in past years Garner was the best choice.
But, the whole WT situation is a shit-show. Who knows what performance they will bring out week to week.
As much as the Dragons are meh - Bird is rusted on and BHunt is a stronger half than Brooks / Hastings.
It's a bit of a each way bet, the $70k difference in price sways me to Bird.
