Those unsure on Barnett, is this because:
- getting low on trades?
- got no one really to trade him to?
- or don't actually think he's going to be that great?
The more I crunch his numbers, the more he seems like a great mid-season pick up at his price and covering RD 17 a massive positive

He's cut from the same cloth as TPJ. Prone to doing something to get him binned or sent off and get suspended.

Hmm true. Players have the scope to improve in that regard though eh, look at the very man you've used in your example this season.

Squad balance issue for me.
I'm over loaded on MID/EDG at the moment so need to fill those spots with HOK/HLF.
I also think with the way the Knights are playing this year Fitzgibbon probably doesn't spend the rest of the year in reserve grade.
Probably still decent value <600k if you need the position

Ah yep, checks out.
Think since it's Luki out for him in my case it's worth the trade (and risk) as he's dead wood and like for like position with DPP an added bonus

I just can't help but feel that Barnett is rising this week because there's not that many worthy trade in options? He might definitely be a fine pick and still considering him, but if there were more clear cut definite trade in options, I don't think he'd be looked at that highly.

Similar thoughts here. No real interest. He probably turns out to be a good buy. Can't own everyone.

Yup, squad balance is the biggest issue for getting Barrett for me too.
Already own: Haas, McInness, Lolo, Ming, Tohu, Angus, and Elliott as MID/EDG options, none of them are really sells for Barnett, so he just throws the balance off.

So you have two fewer MID/EDG options and are also trading EDG to EDG? Not really comparable from a squad balance perspective, that seems like a solid upgrade.

I’m thinking Clark to Barnett, but could also hold fire if some dubious Broncos I own do well tonight and I can bump Clark back to EMG
Don’t think I’d go Haas to Barnett, unless his shoulder falls off in the warmup.
Barnett does feel a bit marginal, in that he could be a keeper but he could also be someone you want to trade to a real keeper later when trades are scarce
EDIT: if I held Clark until R16 could get Papy (just) or someone like Hughes could be sub-600k

It’s interesting but can be a little misleading, effectively treating DPPa as 2 players
