Trying to decide on whether I cash out Walsh or Critta as I don't really have anyone else I want to cash out yet, but can't decide on who.

Leaning towards Critta with his DPP and playing for the Panthers, but have a sneaky feeling Walsh will outscore him across the remaining rounds. Whoever I keep will likely be my 3rd WFB for the year, alongside Papy and Hynes.

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated muchly https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t1879p60-2022-tu-td#636273

I'm running Walsh in my WFB for the rest of the year most likely. Decent floor with few attacking stats. Any tries or assists are a bonus.

Was tanking this round and going for a league win but i have floated 4 moves that i dont know if im doing because they are long term good moves or if im scrambling to keep my ranking up.

Im literally trading out my entire 18-21 to turn them into 3 rookies who play this week and then adding in another premium into my squad. Saab to Moale/Matamau is a waste but need the tiny bit of cash to get Pappy

    Kiraz to Pappy
    Savage to Pole
    Smith to Kennedy
    Saab to Moale/Matamau

Leaves me with 6 + 4 trades and this squad

    Cook
    Haas Harris Ming
    Angus Ipap
    Cleary DCE
    Burton S.Crichton
    Hynes Pappy Edwards

    Mahoney
    Tago
    Elliott
    Koula

    Mam
    Pole
    Kennedy
    Moale/Matamua

It seems pretty good but im not sure if im just talking myself into it to keep my ranking up this week when its actually the league win which im going for.

Actually doing some numbers and looks like I'll have to miss out on of the upper end of MIDs. Can't afford Murray/Matterson/Ofa.

Only have 4+4 trades left, and locked in targets would be DCE and Grant/Cotter (second HOK in R19/20)

    This week planning:

Kiraz/Butcher/Ming > Latrell/Frizell/Palasia. Frizell is the best edg/mid I can afford within budget to afford DCE and Grant/Cotter. So from R19, team would hopefully be this:

    Robson
    IPap Klemmer Harris
    Crichton Frizell
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Aitken
    Teddy To'o Latrell

    Grant/Cotter Hynes Elliott Moses
    Koula Kennedy Palasia Peoples

Peoples can be a looper as well. Thoughts on that as a final team?

    In no particular order:

    Palasia
    Hosking
    Pole
    Matamua
    Moale
    Rodwell
Cheese has also been spoken about as a higher priced cashout with fantasy pedigree

Take your pick as to who will stick around and who won't, and who will score well this week and who wont.

Lots leaning towards the Wests players tho, due to Pole looking handy last week and the Tigers playing late in rounds from here on out helping if one becomes a red dot

Palasia should put up a decent score this week, maybe next week as well. Problem is he likely goes back to small mins off the bench which is less useful than a red dot.

Hosking probably gets one game, maybe two, and is never seen again. He should score reasonably well this week though.

Related but Piakura is extremely unlucky with injury. Every time a spot opens up for him he seems to pick up a minor injury. Copped a HIA last weekend in Q Cup and ruled unavailable this weekend... would have started (with Robati also getting injured), but instead it is Hosking that gets the opportunity.

I might have missed it, but any reason Cartwright and Lewis aren't options? Or just an oversight?

i would think Willison starts to challenge for a permanent spot in the 17 as well though. Gun kid. Couple weeks back from ACL and has been strong in Q CUP with good minutes. Probably not worth picking up though.

Palasia probably similar to Kennedy - a cash out green dot who doesn't score too well but an actual EMG that can get you 20 points if you really need it

I already have Peoples so not keen on getting a second red dot in Hosking

    The Pole looks good too

Billy Smith was my permanent red dot but now it seems like he has a spot back. Still think I’ll go the Pole this week

    Yep pretty much.

I never buy intentional red dots as you usually find enough show up on their own in my team late in the year

I will need to buy a cheapie this week tho

Is Tago to Bird too sideways? Facilitates getting iPap instead of Ofa/Klemmer + an extra R17 number.

    Plan would be:

    Tago -> Bird
    Ming -> iPap
    Kiraz - Latrell
    Savage -> Best 220k option

Leaves me 5 + 4 trades still, 10 players for R17 and this team:

    Grant
    iPap Lolo Haas
    Tohu Angus
    Cleary Moses
    Burton Bird
    Hynes Pap Latrell

    Robson Elliott McInness Mam

    Koula Volkman Kennedy 220k

Bird and Tago is kinda sideways, but not if the extra $20k allows you iPap instead of Ofa/Klemmer IMO

Looking at Hosking as a potential 220k cashout/red dot:

    Broncos draw for looping purposes:

    Thursday x 3
    3rd Saturday game x 3
    2nd Saturday game x 1
    2nd Friday game x 1

    Not that useful, unfortunately.

On the other hand, the Tigers' draw:

    Sunday x 5
    3rd Saturday game x 2
    2nd Saturday game x 1

Tough one. Hosking probably scores better this week and maybe next, but less useful for looping. Matamua doesn't score as well, but a very useful loop.
