I like it. Hopefully they hit Spotify soon.

Operth are one of my favourite bands, just an amazingly unique sound and something easy to listen to. Well for metalheads anyway.

Very Happy Their older stuff is more Opeth like, but still original. Speaking of Opeth, I actually got my Mum to tap her foot to a couple of the acoustic tracks off Damnation a few years ago-the same Mum who literally confiscated my copy of Master of Puppets in 1987 after seeing "Leper Messiah" on the tracklist!

Who's everyone's favourite for lyrics? I can't go past Chris Cornell. So many lyrics that apply to so many situations. Really resonates with me.

Paul Simon and Mark Knopfler, Carol King, Emerson Hart of Tonic, Dave Dobbyn and Don McGlashan (kiwi singer-songwriters), Regina Spektor...

Love Eve six's lyrics due to Max Collins smart wordplay.

I just found out that I'm double booked.

Tickets with wife and son to the comedy festival.
    Tickets with mates to download.

They're coming from QLD and staying.

Anyone know a diamond trader or travel agent ?

    I'm fucked.

Get around the new Foals album. Absolute corker. Will walk into the Mercury Prize shortlist.

Download was awesome, Behometh killed it. Really good vibe, well set up. Slayer were awesome and I could see Frenzal every week and still be happy.

They put on 1 extra concert and you had to be in the first ballot ( 4 concerts) and miss out to qualify for this one. Only 5,000 tickets for each gig. This last gig is streamed on You tube live. Go to Double J and follow the links to subscribe to the Youtube channel.

Oh ok. I jumped in the ballot in January or whenever it was. Didn’t get any emails in regards the drawing  of the ballot though, just a couple of marketing ones!

Maybe they don’t email losers Laugh 3

Always meant to get into them but never did. The couple of songs I heard seemed a bit formulaic; but metalcore can do that. Have you listened to Polaris "The Mortal Coil" yet?
