Whitehead, Peats, Mataora. I love/cringe at the idea of Mataora. Great POD could go gangbusters at 1.00ppm or bomb and not play round 2 .. and that's conundrum 2.

Here's a scenario for you. Would you be more pissed off if:

    A) You pick Mataora in your side and he is dropped to NSW Cup in round 2 for Stockwell and Paea?

    B) You don't pick Mataora in your side and he scores 35 in 40 mins, and is named to start again in round 2?

Woods over Graham. More likelihood of bigger minutes, pretty weak forward pack at the Tigers and last year Woods threw a few 60+ points together in the early stages when he was really on form before he dropped off after origin. Graham has to contend with Tolman while he also has a bit of an injury history as of late.

Seggy should be given close to 80 but who knows what the fuck Griffin is doing. Rumours they had a fall out during the offseason. No established utility on the bench but ET has played there before and would be right up Griffin's' fuck all logic and whatever is the best move for the team' gameplan to play him there, and he would provide some reasoning as to why ET isn't starting. As long as he gets 65 mins though he is a chance to get close to 60 but has always been an up and down scorer who will rely on some attacking plays to rack up points.

Yes. Despite starting at prop he is likely to play 65 mins at least. Always has a big motor and can find the tryline so no reason to suggest he won't get around 55+ to start off with

Both Graham and Woods are guns and underpriced. I went a little cold on Graham when he was in a moon boot during a trial, but he's a tough nut so expect him to be raring to go. I'm on Woods.

I think he'll play 70-80, and possibly the full 80. Depends how Taylor is used by Griff.

Not in rd 1. Not only is he making his first nrl appearance in over a year he's also playing prop, where he generally scores less at. I believe it will take a few weeks before you consider him as captain.

taylor. most reliable option there. plus as a half he will realistically get close to 20-25 just through base stats, especially with him being a halfback and most likely the dominant kicker. a few attacking plays here or there and he can get up to 35-40 without doing too much special

Surgess. Greater points potential while also probably having the greater floor. If the difference in price was more then you could offset the loss in points with the saved cash but with the prices being pretty similar I have to go Surgess

Thanks Beast! I was leaning toward Taylor, let's hope he does do something special!

My worry for Graham is he has gotten a few concussions the past 12 months and stayed on the field, the NRL has warned the Dogs and it wont happen this year. Its the same reason (but to a much larger extent) that id steer clear of Turner. Once you start getting concussed it becomes easier and easier to get more concussions

    B. Mostly for mansour. But also because if McGuire is fully over his injury he'll score pretty well too
