Looks like they're updating something. My rd1 score still says 900 but overall score says 902.

All these small flexes and I am sitting here on 743 Bang

I credit that to Brandon Smith Captain (possibly 110 points at least)
Billy Smith injury (who knows what could've been in the last 20...

BUT 850 looks much better than 743, so overall not too unhappy, plus teams have still won from this position before, although my goal every year is to finish in the top 1000, anything better is a plus.

Would Burton --> Arrow as my only trade be too sideways and too reactionary or would it be worth it?

I dont mind it, Arrow is one of 3 targets I have in mind for this round and next. I also have Burton, but am more likely to try to hold him to use for a Cleary upgrade when available.

major issue is you dont make any cash on the move. its a positional swap too so if your looking short in the MID or EDGE and were very happy with your HLF CTR.

I have been tempted to move Burton/Mahoney but would probably need to additional upside of it helping my second trade by generating some cash which this doesnt do.

This is why its important to go with your own gut feels. Arrow was always going to be a good pick at his price. Do you think he got extra mins though or is Koala not an 80 min player this season?

I think I'm going to want Grant soon. Can't do this week without 2 trades including someone I'm not ready to lose. That's why thinking if only one trade Bird to Nanai. Have enough CTR cover and Nanai looks good, should earn good cash if jump on now and plays 1st bye and free up about 160k for Grant trade fund. Bird scored Johnny on the spot try worth 8pts and if he doesn't score that I'd be considering selling from 39 score so why not

I imagine some of the old timers are looking at some of these trades wondering what on earth is going on. Round 1 fever has hit some quite hard, my advice get to the pharmacy and get it treated.

Didn't see the Dragons game - anything to be concerned about with Hunt? Dominated the KMs as I hoped and I know he can be a bit 30s & 70s. Was this just one of the 30 games?

    reasonably happy with my squad.

only issues is i missed J.King and Tago and I have Russel and Billy Smith who are my WFB and CTR cover. I do have Coates on the bench and Crichton WFB 3 so I can play Coates and have Crichton cover both lines if need be.

    Few things im looking at

    Russell B.Smith to sub 240k guy + J.King
Mahoney Russell to Grant J.King and then keep B.Smith which if he plays lets me keep Coates Smith on the bench. Punting on Grant matching Mahoney and also gives me cash for J.King
Mahoney Russell to Starling Arrow this skips the cheap guys but liked the look of Arrow and hopefully Starling also makes alot of cash. Would probably go Starling to Smith in a few months

It's a funny one with Fifita, because first thought is they can't just throw the ball to him, they have to structure and create plays inclusive of him and that's the coaching and halves. But then on field shows, that yes, just throw him the ball. That's what has worked so far. And they don't want to be predictable obviously, but all he needs is a second or a glimpse of space,, standing flat is no good, but it doesn't have to be a master-stroke of a play to get him involved either.

Definitely losing the plot here, but considering selling Fermor (on my bench currently) down to Tago, so I can afford to trade in Grant. Party because I will watch way more Panthers and Storm matches than Titans so want more players from them lol

My gut feel was that Arrow wasn't going to be great value. Is the lesson to go with Rabbits21's gut?

    I know, right?!?!!

Blokes talking about trading Mahoney to Grant in R1....

Just go to your local PCYC gym, walk up to the ring and ask the biggest bloke you can find to give you an uppercut. You're plainly too far gone to give yourself one.
