I hate to say it but like many others who have been burnt by Aubs before I think it could be a mistake not to run with him for round 1. As a 2RF who is available in the CTR position in Fantasy you really can't go too wrong. As you explained previously the only concern with Aubs while Cordner is out is if he shifts to the CTR's mid game due to an injury.

Okay that's it. Welcome to my team Mitchell Aubusson.

ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
In all seriousness though, Aubbs was never really a trap because he could be shifted to centres. Sure it has happened once or twice. His problem was being named to start and ending up on the bench, to the infuriation of coaches. I just think the Roosters have too many injuries atm, that there is no way Aubbs plays from the bench until Cordner returns (or possibly JWH with a shuffle), either way it should be a fair few weeks. They also have enough centre depth in Elliot and Mitchell that he will not become a centre (albeit against mid-game injuries, which were never that common). The funny thing is, because of the hoodoo- Aubbs will be a slight POD because of people who refuse to get on him because of superstition. But having superstition in something like fantasy football (or anything in life for that matter, but that is another rant!) is stupid. Aubbs is not your season keeper, but what he will do is make bulk points to start the season, and enough cash that by the time he is inevitably benched again- you can buy whichever high priced centre you want at that time.

    Welcome to the fold.

He's a halfback playing fullback, so if he can get his positioning right and his catches under pressure he'll be really solid for us. He'll have good voice and control the guys in front of him well and he's got a fantastic face ball and long pass. He'll be a great foil for Mullen and Hodkinson if he stays there.

Going to be a good player for the Knights but don't see that translating to fantasy. He isn't that big for a fullback so won't have many tackle breaks. Will rely on kick defusals, run metres and ball playing for the bulk of his points. Not the kind of player I want in my 17 assuming the Knights are a bottom 3 team like everyone predicts

I've been running through some stats on players scoring above their avg at the end of last season looking at the last 5 games. Here's the list:
    Josh Hodgson 55 (46)
    Kevin Proctor 49 (45)
    Cameron Munster 64 (43)
    Gareth Widdop 59 (42) last 4 games
    Anthony Milford 48  (41)
    LAM 50 (44)
    Carty 51 (40)
    Jamie Lyon 53 (39)
    David Klemmer 46 (40)
    Jturbo 49 (39)
    Nathan Friend 54 (38)
    Jarrod Wallace 44 (34)
    Justin Horo 41 (34)
    Kane Evans 36 (31)
    Paasi 41 (30)
    Daniel Alvaro 53 (29) 3 games
    Albert Vete 38 (28)

There are familiar names on this list, but also a few surprises.
    Thoughts? What about Albert Vete?

Also just a heads up, League 6 has not been settled yet as we have a combination of newer and older posters in there that we may be using to populate the other Leagues if required.

There is equal chance you will remain in L6 or get bumped up, depending on how the other Leagues fill.  Codes for L6 will not be available till Wednesday morning at the earliest as a result.  Apologies for that but it is the nature of the beast unfortunately.

If I take out JRey promote Hastings and play Auva'a in the centres it allows me to upgrade Whitehead to Taupau and Hodgson to Seggy or would I prefer Merrin/Lichaa

Does your budget allow Hodgson, Merrin & Taupau mate but based on your options Merrin & Lichaa are the way to go.
