I’d be happy if these trash players - that people only own because they couldn’t afford “top players” - stopped busting out 70s. Fucking Lucy, gamble, riki SMH

Mean while, my cheap players AFB, FOG, Burton, Verrils stink the place up.

I get the sentiment, I have the same cheapies as you. Can't complain about Verrils, he's doing as expected. Stoked with Blore who I played in my 17. Who is SMH?

I think Laurie staying as an expensive-ish red dot for me.

He just too awkwardly priced. To cheap to get a gun, and don’t have the trades left to do anything cute.

I need mid/edge cover go team balance. Whoever I chose has to play this week to field 17 so Murray and Curran are out.

I’m thinking Mitch Barnett over Josh Jackson. Anyone got any thoughts on one over the other.

Are you being ironic because your cheap players have also done well?

AFB - last 4 games 72, 52, 76 and then a bone sticking out of his finger left him scoring 34 for an average across that period of 58.5

Verrills, you probably paid about $250k - got a player priced at a 20 average, who has averaged 35 since returning from injury

FOG - last 4 games 92, 43, 96, and a finger injury again for 24 - for an average across that period of 64

Burton I'd assume you're playing at CTR - has averaged 50 across the last 10 weeks, and 34 across his last 4 games - now playing in the halves due to May & Cleary's injury

    Yeah, has to be joking

There's no way I'd grab Barnett - just get's shifted around too much to have any certainty on role or scoring.

    Jackson seems the safest play

If they can be Mid OR Edge (rather than dual), I'd consider Frizell - I'm tipping he'll average 60+ across the last 6 weeks

I like the Friz call but I definitely need a mid more than an edge. Have Fifita, CHN, Angus, Schuster and Bird who can play edge.

Only Watson, Angus, Haas and AFB for mid.

I could bring in Ponga a week early to field 17 and get a mid next week. Gives option of I Pap or Murray.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Shaking Mulvys head

I always read it as "smack my head" as in a facepalm. Shaking my head probably makes more sense.

I was hoping for around 30 from Hetherington, god I hope AFB is back next week so I don’t have to play him again. Pressure on the rest of the team to pick up the slack now

Any trades left mate?  Laurie really stings.  Especially when only like 5% of teams still have him.

3 left but gotta move on SJ and now Laurie. Hopefully enough cash for Cleary + someone decent

I'd probably go the Ponga route.
More exciting than JJ and every chance he goes huge (so long as he stays on the field).
Ipap just seems remarkably reliable as well, so that'd make a pretty good pair of trade ins you'd think.

Any chance the other Papa goes on a tear? He always seems to save his best for the last month or so of footy

SMH a good left field option, meets the eye test and well liked by the forum - though has had neck strains in the past.
