First round result - 917 points, overall rank of 8,420

Facing a similar dilemma as half the forum - no Crichton and no Lodge. $64k in the bank.

Team lists depending, we could consider something like Lodge -> LAM and maybe Croker -> Leniu, Alvaro or Moylan?

Croker and Lodge the most likely putting their hands up to be subbed.

Uto got a decent 33 minutes at the weekend, should come right. Not an easy first up opponent against that monster raiders pack. Doesn't get any easier though this week against Roosters though.

Likely need 2 mids to be safe.

I think we have exact cash for Lodge + Croker to Milford + Faamausili
Or take a punt on Ogden

Much prefer Alvaro in that price range. Faamausilii not going anywhere with 23 minutes and 0.85 PPM from last season, looking like a bad trade in. Alvaro 36 minutes and scoring in line with his 1.21 PPM from last season for 40 points in round 1.

Would also mean Uto needs to be played this week if bringing Milf in.

I think just take the hit playing stefan this week and trade lodge and croker out. Team needs a better 4th reserve.so bring in milf and who ever cheap.

Would be worried that Milf is going to get pantsed in a couple of weeks, Storm, Rabbitohs, Panthers, could easily be back to his scoring from last season. If Broncos start badly, Dearden could be back any time to steal kicking meters.

Is Milf defending Fit Fifita this week?

Alvaro not affordable if we are bringing in Milf.

Moylan still worth bringing in for Croker as half cover? Better job security, should make more cash. Literally no other halves around below Milford.

Suggest Kamikamica as an option for Lodge to go alongside the usual suspects. Should get the Tino role for Storm even when Grant/Finucane back and unlike Ah Mau he hasn't scored his try yet.

EDIT nvm, we actually have Hoy and Averillo as emergency half cover. I'd go Leniu & Kamica for Lodge & Croker. If going the Milford route would probably look for a 246k rather than Faamasuli unless Dragons change their team.

Lodge needs to go and wait to see what happens on TLT?

Could always l**p Hoy and someone for 17th replacing Crichton as well. That might need a poll

I don’t mind Kamikamica, some risk but seems the most “like-for-like” Lodge replacement, in terms of could be a 40+ avg player and make similar profit.

I legit had to google Ofahengaue to see if he'd got injured or suspended or something today. Why's no one talking about him?

Unfortunately my team is shit compared to this one, but I'd probably still do the same trades I'm doing this week;

Ofa is out of price range for single trade from Lodge and no great options cheaper than Croker for a cash grab.

Ah, shit, my apologies. I was being lazy and just assumed that all added up, but correct you are.

Might need to see what team lists produce but I'm all for going the Milf route.

Croker + Lodge gives us $746k

We can go Milf or Ofa, and then 297k for a cheapie (Mead/Ogden/Faamuasili/Lussick)

Koloa instead gives us Alvaro/Leniu alongside him

Don't mind Koloa and Leniu option

Maybe poll to pick one in the 360-400 range (Davey, Koloa, Kamica, LAM) and one in the sub-350 range (Leniu, Alvaro, AN Other)
