Here's our team - what are our plans

Watkins to another CTR is a must
Walters probably wants to go too

We have no cash in hand so I guess we ditch Fifita

Then see what TLT does

I assume Grant will be one trade in, so any thoughts on who else we want.

Let start discussions here, but won't put poll up until after TLT.

Mann out of EMG straight into HLF

First thoughts would be: Fifita, Williams, Walters, Watkins out -->; Taumalolo, Grant, Shibasaki, Katoa in

I'd prefer Best to Shibasaki. If we are going to mess around with near base centres, I would want the more talented one

Would want to ditch Musgrove with the final trade, isn't adding any value to the team.

IMO we definitely want to trade Watkins and Fifita and Musgrove.

Trade them out and Grant as one trade in gives us $1,100 for 2 players (1 must be a CTR)

Walters goes this week or next
HLF we either move Mann to starting or Drinkwater to halves and trade in a WFB


I guess a couple of questions
Do we try and make a play for Taumalolo?
If not are there any other guns we want? Trbo, Teddy, Mattersn, McInnes

Not sure we want to panic out Knight, Williams or Friend who I guess are the other players people might want to move on.

Not my preferred option, but the other way to go would be hold Walters (for a bit of cash) or Musgrove (for looping) for a week, ditch Williams/Friend/Knight and bring in Taumalolo

Few people keen on Shibasaki ($361k) instead of Capewell

Capewell is only $434k, and I'd rate him over anyone more expensive as a better value buy.

Should have read this first. I think hold Walters a week. Missed Musgrove there. He probably needs to go first before the likes of Friend.

4th trade options for this week, all under-performers that haven't demonstrated any promise of why they were added to the team:

For those trades, we would need to ditch Friend over Williams or Knight, and that would only leave us $285k for a centre

Giddy up.

I think we will work on the assumption that Fifita out for Grant is 1 guaranteed trade, and have a vote on the other 3 (or 2)

Key decision is Capewell, Shibasaki or other for replacement CTR

Then the next trade/s are much more open for debate, and will probably be the key decision for the season restart
