Fair call in those regards, I just personally wouldn't pick Merrin. But your team is fucking stacked so what would I know?

So for my number 1 team...

    - Ditched Cook back to Lichaa
    - Au Mau to J.Graham
    - Traded the traitor Tapine for Hoffman
    - Dropped my man crush Dugan for Moylan

    Thoughts

    yes to cook - Lichaa

    then how about this...
    keep Ah Mau over Graham
    Tapine - Rochow/Sue
cash from reveresing Graham - Ah MAu and turn Moylan into Tedesco

Did some tinkering from my first suggested team of:
    Smith, Segeyaro
    Woods, Graham, White, Lawrence
Surgess, Cartwright, Merrin, Edwards, Henry, Pangai Junior
    DCE, Hastings, Taylor, ??? (gap)
    Ferguson, Matai, Copley, Auva'a
    Trbo, Slater, Hunt, Jennings, Gutherson

    Now it looks like this:
    Smith, Segeyaro
    Woods, Graham, Packer, Lawrence
Surgess, Cartwright, Merrin, Chee-Kam, Henry, Pauli
    DCE, Hastings, Taylor, JNiko
    Hurrell, Auva'a, Copley, Littlejohn
    Ferguson, Slater, Tonumaipea, Blair, Gutherson

    Any better?

my thinking is Merrin already at that GUN level with the potential to be a 58-60 scorer with more minutes. Time will tell how Griffin manages that pack, i could use the extra cash to turn him into Parker and not worry about him, but i jst have that gut feeling that Merrin goes into that Parker/Gall fantasy territory this year

    - Great, Cook is likely to be a Bench Hooker while Lichaa is guaranteed 80 minutes.
    - J. Graham is more of a gun, I don't think this trade was necessary. However if you are more comfortable with J. Graham that is good.
    - Hoffman isn't great in NRL Fantasy. If you want to replace Tapine, either look at guys who are more expensive Whitehead (If he starts)/Rochow/Sue/ah Mau/Paea/T. Williams
    - Moylan while talented his scores don't translate to NRL Fantasy. Look at Gordon/Mansour/Ferguson/Barba

downgrade Tapine to someone around the 200k mark then, Ted could be a POD of sorts to start the season if he fires up early could push you ahead of the pack because if all the mid rangers stutter everyone will be clamouring to get Ted in quickly

Nice work getting rid of Matai, he really is Fantasy mud.

What are you hoping to get out of Touno?  Keep an eye on Rd 1 teams as potentially a 130ker will be there early, such as Phillips/Feeney/Opacic/Addo-Carr/French/Carli/Scott.  If so, that frees up 50k for somewhere else.  Although you take a risk with their job security.

Oh, and is that Cheyse Blair in your 4th WFB slot?  If so get rid of him or play him in your 3rd spot.  Don't tie up 30 odd thousand in an NPR WFB slot.  I know it seems a cheap way to hold a player for depth, but if that money can get you an upgrade somewhere else then that is where it is more valuable.

I remember doing this for years , maybe my first 3 or 4 DT seasons-trying to get depth by holding cheapies, and it is not worth it if you can upgrade elsewhere in my opinion.

2RF - Carty, Taum, Rochow, Paea

But he's got the hair and the winning smile Wink

Tonu is there as a placeholder pretty much til Rd 1...I've got 65k in the bank still so may downgrade him and upgrade a reserve forward to Trbo on the day

Upgrade Barba. He wont stay FB, people are going to be trapped!

I do not know if he will stay at fullback all season but this article is encouraging:

    http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/cronulla-sharks/michael-ennis-tips-ben-barba-to-return-to-his-prime-for-ambitious-cronulla-sharks-20160211-gmrhcv.html

"Ben has had a terrific summer. He's worked tirelessly on his game. A lot of people last year were quick to judge Ben on form. But the guy had to spend a whole summer at five-eighth, as well moving from another club and carrying a rib and ankle injury for most of the season, which not everyone knew about," Ennis said.

"We're judged on our performance, we all know that. But he's had a smooth summer injury-wise, he's spent the whole time at fullback, which is the position he excels and enjoys. "It's good to see him get on the outside of [Kalifa] Faifai Loa the other day and put the foot down. That's all he needed. The confidence with him is really starting to grow and he's going to be a huge bonus for us at Cronulla this year."

Holmes was one of the breakout players of 2015 and Bird has obvious upside as a developing playmaker. But Ennis said it had been Barba that had spent most time at fullback in the pre-season and the matter would only be settled during trial games.
"Valentine had periods last year where he played bits and pieces for us [at fullback]. I haven't seen Jack play there at all other than the fact all three of them have trained excellently over the summer," Ennis said.

Well for me the extra cash downgrading to Barba throws my team dynamic out of balance. So I've completely re-jigged it:

    Segs Granville(R)
    Fifita(c) Graham LAM(R) NPR
    Surgess(vc) Merrin Cartwright Rochow(R) Pauli(R) Benry
    DCE Hastings Taylor JNik
    Copley Auv'a MCK NPR
    Gordon Slater Barba Gutherson NPR

    Thoughts?
