Waiting for Eliminator sides to come out, could sway what trades I make this week.
Being about 700 points off the leaders I suspect my chances of overall have all but disappeared.

There seemed to be a lot of talk last week that Cartwright would be out for a while. I can see he is named this week. But no talk about his injury, ie possible reduced minutes.

Is there any info out there?

My VSDT team is terrible as well. My trades will also be with half an eye on Eliminator.

The only thing I could find was that he was expected to be right and to play this week.

Talk of actually missing game time was just fantasy coaches being paranoid, rather than any official statement

What are the Smith / Parcell owners doing this week, at a complete lose as to what I am going to do ? Run the risk of an AE from Feeney.

Suppose I will just wait to see Team lists and can always put the C on Graham or Surgess, may be prudent to bank some trades this week.

    Yeah fellow Smith/Parcell owner here.

Originally (and normally at this time of year) I had planned to offload Smithy and then pick him up again after Origin.

But he is scoring so well in this comp I don't think I can bear to part with him.

Combined with the fact that I think Parcell won't be dropped altogether and in sharing game time with Api, will plummet in price accordingly.....I think I will need to deal with him before Smith.

Need to come up with 150k to turn him into Friend.

Yeah I will keep both this week , wont be ditching Smith unless the Storm are that far entrenched in the top 4 later in the season thats when I get nervous as a Smith owner. Other than J Friend no other rakes excite me as trade out option for Parcell at this stage.

Eliminators are up. The Trousers are safe for one week, opposition is a deserted team.

Have seen my Eliminator opponent, but when I click on his team, I can only see the 13 players he played in Round 12.
How do I see his full squad of 25 ????

I don't think you can Pacey.

Up until a few weeks ago clicking on a team would show you the full 25-man squad, but then it changed to just the 17 scoring players from the previous round instead.

Not sure if it's deliberate or a little coding bug they introduced when they were making an "improvement". I suspect the latter, as I DON'T have much faith in the quality assurance of software developers these days (cue rant about the NRLF debacle of 2014, bahahaha).

Glad to hear it SI. Smile

I'm ranked 142nd and my eliminator opponent is ranked 2315th, but (unlike me) he WASN'T set up for the R12 byes, so he is predicted to beat me 838-786, and it looks like an early exit for me. Haha!

Kenny Edwards. The Sims talk had me worried about the job security of Matthews and Marketo at the Dragons, and I chickened out on Alvaro. Hoping that Edwards has decent job security (now talk of him playing 5/8th) and plays all three big byes.

Sounds like a fair decision. Parra players were like gold leading into R12. (I had Semi, Norman, and Ma'u.)

48th currently and ~300 points off top spot, may as well give overall a punt fella

Other option is to keep Smith and hope he plays and just use 1 trade (will have 16 left)

    Hastings - DCE/Pearce

But will take the lowest score of Denniss/Aubbs

    Smith, Lichaa
    JTurbo, Graham, Surgess
Lowe, Taylor, Whitehead, Cartwright, Mau, Matthews
    Hunt, Mbye, DCE, Cullen
    Harris, Aubbs, Holland, Denniss
    Gordon, Coote, Mitchell, Feeney, Abbey

leaning towards staying with 1 trade and targetting the 2 big byes

Thanks ST, I thought I was just missing something. I got a Eliminator rank of 42 and my opponent was 3001. I should be right.

If you are playing h2h, then Roosters players are the way to go.

I think C.Smith will play. Storm plays before Roosters so you can hold off on the Smith-Friend trade until you see the Melb team. My hookers are C.Smith and K. Nikorima. J.Friend has a couple of price drops ahead of him, so I'm planning to do Nikorima-Friend in R15.

Gordon plays R15 & R18, whereas Tedesco only plays R18, so I would personally hold off on that trade until after R15.

Hastings-Pearce appeals more to me than Hastings-DCE becoz Pearce plays R15 & R18, whereas DCE only plays R15.

Not sure about Holland-Brown I have BOTH atm and will probably keep them BOTH for R18. Have you considered Holland-French?

    Fun place this.
My centers here are now Munster, Harris, Crocker (shit a center) and cashout Su'a (who made me 47 last bye round playing a forward)
Man it's a problem when the centers are nearly the best looking part of your team. Rolling Eyes
