Had thought about this idea in the past and was for it for awhile but basically it rewards you for failing to run your team properly. If you get to the point where you desperately need a trade you obviously didn't allocate them correctly and need to deal with it and try to hang on.
If you have a spare 100k left at the end you also likely didn't do the best transfers at the best time either and you should have it sitting there staring you in the face everytime you log on as you see your ranking plummet because you have no sub for Shaun Johnson as he gets injured near the end of the season and you are unable to trade him to Thurston who is killing it.

I wouldn't mind this but maybe only make it for the last few rounds of the season when everyone is getting injured and limit it to maybe one trade per week. That's just me, though, and I'm usually wrong about everything.
