He's a bloody good middle forward, but recovering from a calf injury, and hasn't seemed to be playing many rake minutes yet. He's a consideration, but not a deal-breaker.

    CNK, Teddy, Ponga

    Mahoney, Rein, Taupau, Murray
    Xerri, Dearden, Lomax, Burns

    $711k ITB, 21 trades remaining, rank 382

Thoughts & Concerns: Hoping Young gets the full 80mins treatment. Stats are impressive off the bench, can't imagine what it will be like starting. Jacob Liddle hovering around makes me nervous of the Farrah trade. There's a chance Farrah will be rested if the Tigers are up by alot. With so much money ITB, should I just go with Cook for set and forget? Planning on Morgo upgrade and maybe Turp if Macca is confirmed out for a while

Wow this is a really good team with that much bank. Putting mine to shame lol

Sup Random. I have gone ARey this week.

    ARey v Pearce
    728k v 637k
    55.3av v 46.3
    BE 52 v 19
    Rd12 v no Rd12
Lowest score 41 v Pearce's 25, 28, 38, 42 (totalling 6 scores under 55 until last two weeks where he has scored tries)

Although Pearce is on his way up and the cheapest he'll be (inflated by tries), I like ARey's consistency this year. And with not many available/performing halves I think getting a GUN here now is smart, and I think he is most likely to be one of the Gun halves this year. Add to this that ARey has the safety of goals for a higher floor and Rabbits are a better team for more attacking points and potential boom scores.

If they both score 55's over the next 3 weeks, Pearce will make $119 to $756k and ARey makes $36 to $764k before the bye. Then it will cost 8k to jump onto ARey for the bye !! And you get 90k in the bank.

Hoping that Croker is out as long as Bateman and Fainu can pump out some decent scores.

My new M8 LN8- I had been considering very similar trades as I am still unable to let go of Fainu's potential even knowing Croker could easily be back in 1-2 weeks.
Its just the kind of risky buy I am all about this season.

Also holding Bateman (for now)- CHT and Morgan to Fainu and Young
I am also thinking of making Fainu captain this week. Balls to the wall and YOLOOOOOOOOOO

I think people do need to look at the cover Turpin or Dearden provide their team opposed to "who makes the most cash". If you are only have one Hooker, then Turpin is probably the best option until you can grab a/another HOK GUN as #2. IF you are moving on Morgan and CHT (and Cartwright after RD12), then Dearden provides good half cover. Remember to do what is best for your team and that you can't have all the cows Smile

Manly have named 2 halves on the extended bench so potential for a late swap with koro going back to hooker and Fainu to the bench. Interesting to see what 2 players they cull from their squad

This is the one thing concerning me with my current trade in of Farah (as I have 3 other hookers), but I feel like I can't turn him down when he's dropped 160k. If I stick with this trade I will be leaving one of Tolman/Rein/Lawrie in EMG after doing Bateman to Lolo next week

Alternatively if I pick RTS/Pearce/Cleary as my Morgan trade to go alongside ARey (Ponga moving into HLF if RTS) I would only be leaving Carty (or maybe CNK) in the EMG once I do Bateman to Lolo next week

    According to Fox Sports -
The Canberra Raiders have landed another major signing coup by coming to terms with English halfback George Williams for next season.
Williams will join the Green Machine on a three-year deal taking the number of English imports in the national capital to five. The Raiders are denying they’ve signed the playmaker but England players have been openly discussing Williams coming to Australia for the past fortnight.
Massive Signing foe the Green Machine if True. Fuck of Sezer.
